I'm going out to lunch with a woman ive known for years. She knew me when I was a super afc.
We met at a DJ gig I had years ago. She later told me that when our eyes connected she thought there was something special there.
We went out a few times she spent the night a few times. We fked several times. Sex was good. After a few times she told me that she didn't want to continue having sex if I was sleeping with other women.
Even in the midst of my beta days, I refused to be tied down and simply ghosted her.
She continued to reach out and we became friends in a sense. Still in beta mode I confided in her a lot during my custody battle etc.
She moved overseas for a few years and moved back here recently and has been reaching out.
She's 41, lives with her mother in their family home. (Mother and father separated recently. Father cheated and has an outside child).
She's really feminine and gentle, is well educated and freelances with some pretty big clients. She's honestly someone I could see myself settling down with.
Where the question marks come up is that she's about an HB 7 She isn't in great shape and doesn't exercise much. Pretty but not a hot body. She also believes in The Secret and 'magical thinking'.
She has a good friend who recently divorced her husband while pregnant and with a 2 year old son. The friend is moving to another country while pregnant and leaving the husband. She says there was no abuse but the husband was "selfish ". She told me her friend is "brave" for leaving her husband. That was a huge red flag for me. Brave???
But yeah. Would love to hear you guys ' thoughts about a woman like this.
