Just my take. History says Trump will probably falter similar to Giuliani and others who had the steam over a year out from the elections. Trump will likely throw his support behind Rubio as well. He'll easily win Florida and coast over any of these current Democrat clowns.

If the primary were this fall, I would say Trump is all set. But it will be very difficult to maintain his lead into 2016. It's possible, but very difficult.

I like Rubio. I'm not sure that he is the strongest candidate, but he's very good.

Agree on all.

Unfortunately I don't think a true alpha male (especially white) like Trump is what the country wants right now, even though it's exactly what it needs. Rubio is like a Republican Obama - a well spoken easily electable puppet. He'll slow the sinking of the ship temporarily, but he won't stop it like Trump would.

Trump as president would be the biggest mistake America could ever make. And that's an irrevocable fact.

Get used to Hilary or Biden if he enters.

The plebeians and the bleeders will generally vote Democrat.

Thats too big a chunk of the voting populace; I don't see a republican president happening.

The country needs RON Paul more than anything. Ron Paul would permit the poor to starve out, make the middle class become the new poor as he utterly guts the federal bureaucracy, ignore foreign affairs, and balance the budget. He is the absolute capitalist extreme the country needs.

Which is precisely why he was never popular and never will have the slightest chance at getting elected. And that is the truest indicator of how utterly hopeless this country is.

Yep, because your opinions are always facts, right?

Good points. Sort of scary because I would become one of those new poor. But funny enough, I bet that would solve my 'motivation' problem real quick and in a hurry.

Country needs some real adversity.

As you know my original plan was to get behind Rand Paul, but Rand Paul has allowed himself to fall totally behind.

This Election Year is one of the weirdest ones I think of my modern voting lifetime (I officially was able to start voting during the Kerry v Bush elections but missed it. I didn't start voting consistently until 2008 and to this day vote for national, state and local).

On the Republican side, Donald Trump, who is a person that I don't know how anybody can take seriously because a big reason he's running is for "show," but he's turned out to be the ONLY Republican Candidate with any type of juice, energy, spunk, and fire that creates that natural EXCITEMENT for a Campaign.

Ben Carson is insanely boring, the guy speaks as if he's about to fall asleep.

Scott Walker and Chris Christie have been totally lost in the shuffle.

Marco Rubio is just playing it safe, as a result, he gets overlooked.

Where in the hell is Mike Huckabee lol? Talk about lost in the shuffle.

Jeb Bush is still right up there and if Trump falls, it's going to Jeb. I'm not sure Trump can maintain the lead going forward though because as someone pointed out yesterday during the Debate Analysis, the LONGER the debate goes on the more Trump is seemingly tired out.

On the Democratic Side, Bernie Sanders (a socialist) is getting all of the energy and excitement but he's no where NEAR beating Hillary in the polls?

It looks like we might end up with a Jeb Bush v.s. Hillary Clinton situation, and Hillary will totally destroy Jeb as all she has to do is tie him to GW Bush.

I'm sorry guys, I hate to say it, Hillary is still going to win :(

At least you're honest. Most Republicans claim they are doing what's best for the country. Your scenario is closer to the truth.

The stupid b!tch came out with her plan for drug law enforcement, and it's more of the same tired old Federal bullsh!t. Drugs are bad, mmm'kay?

Trump says he supports legalizing weed, but Hillary doesn't? What has politics come to when the democrat supports the war on drugs and the republican is against it?

This is shaping up to be a battle of the populists. Bernie Sanders may take this. Which would spell doom. But we're doomed anyway. May as well rip the bandaid off quicker rather than spend half a day whining.

The situation he described IS what is best for the country, long term. Irrevocable facts n sh*t

Unfortunately, while we'd get rid of most of the enabled scum, we probably would not be able to get rid of the majority of the lib-tards due to their baby boomer parent trust funds. So the cycle would just start right back over.

That's why Trump's way is the best way, in my irrevocable opinion.

Yeah, Marco Rubio with his 4% rating is going to be the next President. Thanks for the laugh.

Trump is a joke.

If Fiornia wins I will move to Mexico, Iraq, or Syria. If Hillary wins I'll go play chicken with a train and let the train win. I will never stand behind a woman President. They are too unpredictable.

Amen brother, either one of them would destroy our country. Besides, both are annoying as fvck.

You can all that a joke, but you would be sorely wrong. The ****roaches scurry in butt-hurt fear of the man who faces tough issues head-on.
And Agree

Weird thing about this country - as bad as we all think it is, it's still pretty damn good if people are still trying to socially idealize everything, including the presidency. There are people out there that simply want a woman president, just like they wanted a black one, for no other reason than to just do it. Now it seems only a Hispanic guy can really win. Many Republicans want Ben Carson, simply because the dude is a black guy and conservative, as if being black is a prerequisite. When sh*t truly hits the fan, all those social politics go right out the window, along with everything else. That's when you revert back to nature and the real men rise up.

We are about to find out how many real men we have left (and real women for that matter). Because they are all going to vote for Trump.

The methods that the ****roaches are pulling out right now to discredit Trump are mind-boggling. Jealousy knows no limits.

There are plenty of good alpha-male leaders out there, but they just don't care anymore. They are out for themselves and doing their own things. While I can't blame them, our situation today is what happens when they abandon ship.

I too would prefer Trump to win, but he's going to need to lay out specifics in how he's going to fix the employment and economic situation in this country for example.

The economy is shifting and changing, this is out of the control of who "the President" is and is mainly a result of Global forces, Central Bankers, Congressional Laws, Big Business, Robotics and Technological Innovation.

The fact of the matter is that Robotics and Technology are going to continue to replace jobs, which of course you might say will "shift" new jobs to those who can make the Robots, correct? But that's skilled labor, very specialized skilled labor, and Tyquesha at the McDonald's cashier position that's being replaced by an automatic ordering machine is NOT going to be retrained to make such machine. So where does Tyquesha go?

The divide between the Haves and Have Nots are going to be wider, worser, and it's going to be insane going forward. All I can say is that if you aren't currently positioned in one of these industries, you are going to be left behind:

- Robotics

- Computer Science

- Engineering

- Healthcare as a Doctor, Dentist or RN

- Finance in terms of Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Accounting. And note that here you want to be in some sort of main Operational Role creating some sort of innovative disruption to traditional financial services. The lower level roles here will TOO be replaced by Technology, just as the traditional Bank Cashier has pretty much already been replaced by Online Banking (Technology).

This is partially answered here:

I'm always amazed how much sway people believe a president really has. You see it even in the debates. These candidates are all full of shyt. They will enact maybe 1/20th of what they say they will do. It's like people forget about congress and the courts and, more importantly, the private sector. In this regard I'm extremely skeptical of Trump. His views are fine, but he doesn't understand how government works (which is barely at all). Presidents are not that influential, and they should get minimal credit or blame for economic trends.
True stuff, samspade. All the president can really do is somewhat guide the ship and employ emergency maneuvers if necessary. He's definitely not steering the thing. The market sets the economy for the most part. I remember those blithering idiots on the news back in 2008, "I don't like what's going on at the gas pumps, so I can't vote Republican!". Lulz. Even worse were those nimrod girls saying they wouldn't have to worry about their mortgage during the Obama election celebration. This country is full of stupidity.

What I like the most about Trump is that he plans to tackle immigration reform (which, the solution is very easy, it's the actual enforcement that's tough), and trade restrictions with other countries. All this can be done from the presidency. Plus, he hopefully won't be appointing any more liberal judges, and he won't be causing race riots. He'll get rid of all the entitled positions up there in DC.

See? These retards just do stuff for the fun of it. Just to say they did it. All it tells me is that these positions are totally useless.

So what? Trump has been outspoken his whole life not being afraid to say what's on his mind. So far he's only insulting people and offering empty promises. Getting his way being a big tycoon is one thing, trying to work with a Liberal congress and Republicans who disagree with him is another when he won't be able to accomplish what he said he would do. Politics is a whole different ballgame than being a businessman.
