I am seeing one that has lived in the US for 9 years. But she's definitely different.

I don't think that normal rules apply on this one.

I've got experience. Every single hot Russian chick I've met was a stuck up princess GOLD DIGGER. Without exception. I mean DAMN. Demanding, bratty, think they're the center of the damned universe.

But they're hot. My best advice is to neg and/or ignore the hell out of them. If you see them out with a friend pay attention to the friend and they'll get crazy jealous.

The Russian chicks also usually have a LINE of suitors begging to take them out. Be the ****. Don't kiss their asses.

Also, these are the type of women that you DO NOT want an LTR with. FB status only. As soon as you get into anything serious with them the demands for jewelry, trips, dinners, etc. will come. I NEVER let myself get into that spot. Saw it happen to too many friends. Bloody nightmare for them.

And they have bad tempers.

Man I've always been attracted to Russian women's demanding and drill instructor attitudes. I would love to dominate one in bed but they are pretty hard to find in Pittsburgh.

Ok here's the thing.

Met her on a Sunday. She insisted on Friday, but I told her sunday night was my only free night.

We made out all night everywhere. she was practically pulling my clothes off after earlier passively aggressively telling me that I wouldn't get laid.

After she said that I told her I wouldn't sleep with her that night.

We hung out from 8p-2a, she got a cab home.

She was very direct
She got more and more complementary as the night wore on. commented on my facial features and how much i was growing on her.

So yesterday I asked her for Friday night. She said she had plans with her friend who she ditched to come out with me on Sunday. Here is the following convo:

ME: We're going to act like civilized people?!?

ME:I'm not confident.. i mean two gay guys stopped us (last Sunday night) on the street

Questions for people that know russian women and in general:

-She said "How about Saturday between 1 and 3pm?" Did you understand that to mean the date was only between those hours, or starts on those hours. I am trying to understand if she's trying to double book, keep me from sex, or if I should make more plans. Should I clarify
- Should I flake or use an excuse to reschedule? I could easily say "Hey I forgot I have to pick a friend up from the Airport, does sunday work"

Here are my 2 pennies...

Foreign women are VERY different.

I was born and raised in Seoul South Korea. Raised by my mother whom ditched my father for some reason.

I saw the way she treated her boyfriends.... I was puzzled, pissed off (I wanted a dad), sad and confused as to why she did what she did to great father figures.

And her culture has alot to do with it. Strictly Korean and Strictly American is what I know.

Strictly Korean sounds alot like the Russians described by Johnny ...

They are heartless gold diggers (Japan too), but in South Korea .. it is a well known fact and an accepted part of the culture that the women are Gold Digging lol.

Example. In the South Korean Language, the same words that are used to ask "Do you have money" is also translated "can I have money."

That being said ... Russian / Korean women are heartless cruel gold diggers out for status and bragging rights, they are never wrong, they always do everything right and everything is justified.

TRUST me. Culture is wired into the brains. Foreign women are different.

My mother (whom I now live with after my divorce) is nothing like anyone outside. She is pure South Korean. Still. After 25 years.

So my advice ... NON AMERICAN WOMEN ARE VERY DIFFERENT.

Personally I would run the FvKK away.

I've dated a Ukrainian and a Russian.

Had to quote everything to the letter, as all aspects are true.

My Dearest OP, please stay away from Russian (prior Soviet Union block countries) and Ukrainian women.

I was seriously ass phucked by a Ukranian woman across the globe after I was going through a divorce. She was gorgeous and I even moved across continents to be with her. I was emotionally weak and had low self-image at the time due to getting out of a 10 year marriage and highly naive about women in my mid-30's.

She ended up to be seriously phucked up in the head, definitely had a series of BPD symptoms. I even got hit in the face and bled by her - she was a violent unpredictable woman. Thankfully I was only married to her for 3 months before we separated and I was able to get away from her and heal myself for the next couple of years.

It was also her that brought me to this site initially - and I turned DJ through many years of hard work. I had lost my innocence through her, never realizing how horrible women (and human beings) can be, since I had lived a fairly sheltered life and picking safe women in the past.

I can look back now and say she definitely chose me because of my status and financial resources. She was a phucked up control freak - but played very feminine in the beginning. DO NOT FALL FOR THE ACT. A beautiful woman + being raised in a culture of manipulation and gold digging is a VERY VOLATILE combination for you to risk your emotional health being.

Russian women are my specialty (along with hot Asians). I've dated several long term, and was even married to one with who I had a kid with.

I'd have to agree with everything already stated in this thread. They are golddiggers, and they highly value a man with a good profession or well paying job. They also don't mind dating older men, in fact to provide a feeling of security and being taken care of they often seek it out which explains why the 27 year old hottie in your case thinks it's absolutely normal to date a guy who's 40. So don't let the age difference affect your decision-making.

These types of women are hot, but they're also often straight forward. If you give them the appearance of having money, they will probably fvck you very quickly. They have tempers, but keep themselves in very good shape. They rarely get fat as they age, although it does happen sometimes. They think it's important to always look good, and wearing high heels even to the grocery store is not uncommon.

But be very careful, many of them want a free ride through life (with you as their financial support) which may be a good thing because in return they generally give you lots of great sex and they generally cook well and clean up the house. They also tend to have a great down to earth sense of humour and are easy to talk to, and they will often express interest in your hobbies. However, they also tend to argue a lot and it's true they're usually spoiled and think they're god's gift to men (hot women are still very similar the world over in this respect).

If your money runs out, generally so will their love for you. These are women who often grew up in poverty and are willing to do whatever it takes to avoid becoming poor again. Plus in the West, they see all the money around them, and they see how much westerner men worship hot women so they think they are automatically entitled to a good life supported by a rich sucker. Also keep in mind that hot foreign women, when transplanted in the West, often become just as anti-maile, moneyhungry, and manipulative as their western female counterparts. Proceed with caution, but have fun while it lasts.

Though we never banged, it would have happened under different circumstances; I'd had previous dealings with her 'friend' and she had this warped sense of loyalty, even though Russian let me share her bed, would openly flirt incessantly blablabla. In summary, it doesn't matter where they're from; most people are inherently not 'different'. The only thing you need worry about is to evaluate the situation (i.e. her interest level) on an ongoing basis. Probably forever.

Why would we even bother to differentiate? Why not just call ALL GIRLS gold digging?

I talked to a girl from Mexico from February - June. There was no difference between her and an American girl other than that she lives in a poorer country. If she were in America, she would be the same as the girls here.

I ended up dating the older one. They were great.

We lived together for 7 weeks and she still sends me love letters (initiating) 4+ years later.

Liked old fashioned movies, appreciated a gentleman, loved sex. Appreciated a man with a job. MUCH better than American women - especially 31 year old women who are usually monsters.

There is indeed a big difference. The ones born or raised from a young age in North America are like typical North American women, except hotter, on average (an therefore even more spoiled). The ones born and raised in Russia come in all types: some are family oriented, some are gold diggers, some are friendly and nice, some are complete b!tches. There is really no way to generalize.

Was just introduced to one yesterday. As hilarious as this sounds, she was an awesome girl. Really fun, and great sense of humor. I didn't realize she was a foreigner until I paid close attention to her accent. Had an awesome evening with her.

THEN the odd news was told to me that at 29 years of age she was not employed and lived with her parents. Hmm...definite red flag. Especially when she wouldn't exactly disclose why she wasn't working. At the end of the night I dropped her off at her parent's house and left without asking for her number.
