Hey guys
You probably know me from the topics where I act weird and needy.
Actually, I never understood why. There was one woman in particular that I wanted. And for me it was like oneitis.
In fact, I know many people gave up on me in this forum :D
I was wondering why this was the case Then I learnt I have OCD.

I was suspicious because I was a MEd student. When I went to the doctor, we discovered that I had OCD. Alright what now?

I am obsessed with people, I remember anything unimportant from months ago and present it to the woman (For example, even the girl's birthday is constantly on my mind), I have a stalking addiction... Even my masturbation count increases from time to time due to this.
I constantly check the phone when I meet someone, etc.

In short, yes, I have OCD with a psychiatric report. I don't know how to get rid of these habits. I had used medication before for another reason, but it didn't work.

I don't know man. OCD is somebody who suffers from intrusive thoughts that cause anxiety. Doesn't really sound like you have OCD, maybe you are just a Type A personality.

I have OCD and the media incorrectly portays OCD people as being neat freaks or obsessed with details.

They said me I have Type C personality. And gave some medicine for that. I don't know too :D

I don't believe that you have OCD, you might just hard-up. For example, because I"m hard-up, I might check WassUp to see if there is one or two checkmarks with a sent message and then wonder if I'm blocked if I only see one checkmark. But then feel reassured when I see the profile pic or last time the person was on WassUp. I used to be like that before but I tapered off and no longer look at that. It was just a phase. Are you worried you are being blocked by the other person when you are checking your phone?

I remember all of my exes birthdays. But that's because I only have two exes. If I had allot of girls then I probably wouldn't remember it because it wouldn't be such a once in a lifetime event.

You have a scarcity problem, you are not getting enough interactions, enough women so you are hard-up. This is not OCD in my books.
You have OCD when it doesn't involve women and you are talking about something else. Otherwise, if ANYTHING involves women, guess what, everybody can be diagnosed with something who is not successful with women so I can't buy it.

Unless your people problem also extends to GUYS (ie do you remember your guy (same sex) birthday's like you do with women?) then it is not real.

You should google and do a full research on those type of things. You should have a real issue not a fake "socially engineered" issue because of social dynamics involving women.

I would rather you watch at a good ASMR youtube video then take Prozac. What you need is some good energy from a woman that you are not getting in real life. You have to supplement it by videos on youtube. That is your pill. That chemicals that can cause insane withdrawal symptoms, take 2 weeks to work (if anti-depressants). I was thinking of taking that myself in 2014 but when I looked at google and youtube to look at the side-effects and how people taking these anti-depressants (which ironically was prescribed for insomnia) killed themselves due to hallucinatory side-effects, I freaked-out and let it ride its course.

I have posted ASMRs on other threads. The concept if if a woman on a screen tells you that she loves you, you'll get through it, or whatever, is sincere, and you are thirsty enough, then you'll feel good about it and catch the good energy from that video even though you know its a fake. If its bad enough you have to take Prozac then the videos sound like they will work on you. You should give it a try before trying those pills. You are too young to take pills that can wreck havoc on your body.
Man It's okay but I am a med student. So after a few years I will give it to patients. Soo How will we explain this to medical science :D
By the way yes. In fact, the situation gets even better when the other girls get involved.
I think I won't use the drugs like you said.

If you want to maintain good grades in med school you can't be too preoccupied with women. Yes, stay away from the drugs.

I thought only psychiatrists prescribe those types of drugs, that's a specialization within medical. If you are a General Practitioner, then I don't think you would be able to make a psychological diagnosis and prescribe medication since you would not be that type of specialist.

As a doctor, you should only prescribe medication if people need it, not to receive kick-backs from drug-companies.

@corrector please do not interfere with a medical doctor’s diagnosis and treatment plan. It’s irresponsible and based in hears at best since you have no medical education to back you up. If he’s been diagnosed as OCD which often comes with a trailing diagnosis, potentially not mentioned here.

Okay, this is duly noted. However, this was intended as men's locker room talk, not intended as medcial advice. I never said I was a medical expert or have medical education. If I was really serious then I would have DMed rather than post something publically. It didn't look like this thread was initially getting allot of traction so I think I'm contributing the discussion.

But, yeah, just men's locker room talk. Don't take it too seriously.

Anyway, I edited the post so it just throws a wrench into the argument, nothing more.

Actually, there were things I suspected, but I didn't know the name. It was OCD. It's not just OCD, either. Lack of attention, anxiety, excessive anger...
Actually, these were things I always had, but as I said, I didn't know their names. Since I have been living with these for years, I can say that I have found a few solutions :D

For example, like what is written above. I become less obsessed when there are more girls. The problem may be that I don't have a girl environment right now.
Likewise, I noticed that as the frequency of Masturbation increased, I got worse. I neglected exercise and ate fast food and became obese, which made the situation worse. I'm getting more depressed.

In short, yes, I may have a few psychological problems right now, but if I had the life I wanted, most of them probably wouldn't exist. So I think there are things that can be fixed.
The problem here is that I couldn't have the life I wanted :D
I'm studying at university in a place where 10k people live. My school is also off campus. So I can't find a place to go and meet people.
There isn't even a single bar :D To consume alcohol, people buy it from the market and drink it at home. Since I don't drink alcohol, there is no problem, but there is no place to meet people.
Since I love dances, I looked for a dance course and even that wasn't available...
