This gets talked about every so often, whether porn helps or hurts your game. Usually you hear people say that it hurts it because it releases "sexual energy" instead of motivating you to get on the field.
I'm not sure that there is such thing as "sexual energy", but here's an observation that has a little more basis.
When I was a full AFC, pretty much, sub-AFC, instead of a recovering AFC, at first I was at a zero-porn state. I didn't look at it except when I was "weak", because it was against my religious beliefs.
Later, I got rid of the religion so even though I intellectually thought that porn could be okay, I wasn't sure, and was pretty embarrased to get it.
Eventually my curiosity got me and I tried it. This got me more motivated toward being able to pick up women for real. I fully realized that the interactions were not realistic, but at the same time, it helped me get over the AFC belief that women dislike sex and only give it begrudgingly.
Once I started getting some success with real women, I found the porn to be a hindrance because it's sort of artificial as far as dealing with women is concerned. A lot more is involved than, "Hi I'm MackJr. Hi, my name's Candy. Okay mack, I'm going to **** your ****."
So my answer is that Porn isn't bad or good, it depends on where you are. I think now my time is better spent on working on my game or dealing with girlfriends than on porn, but it's an acceptable standby not as a subsitute, but as an aside.
