Alright, I don't honestly know a lot of obese people, but I do know some overweight ones. I can only imagine that people who are obese go through things significantly worse than overweight ones.

I've been staying with a classmate for the past week to work on a project together. Anyway, his family business is in massaging out of their own home. EVERY ONE of their clients are overweight! Some of them are in their early 20s. I've seen all kinds: Caucasian, Indian, African American... ok, I haven't seen an Asian person.

These people pay $80+/hr. every 2 weeks or every other day. WTF? He told me they had to get a massage to get them through the day, week, 2 weeks, etc... or else they'd be in pain. Wow.

Seriously, how many overweight and obese people are popping pain relievers on a daily basis? Scary. Also, I didn't know massage places even made that kind of cash without being those shady kinds... the one with the happy endings....

I can understand fat women who are upset about their weight and would like an easy solution to fix it, but I really can't understand the ones who are proud of looking like a goddam cement truck.

To all the BBWs, let's see how you are of your size when you're going to dialysis every second day.

.
no kidding.

All this "love yourself for who you are" is bs.

I had an epiphany the other day.....maybe all the whales won't be a burden on our health system. They will likely have a terminal heart attack before 50.

proud and healthy just means lazy and trying to lie to herself.

It's unhealthy, etc.....

This obesity epidemic comes down to poor education and dangerous products on the market. People don't realise just how addictive sugar and simple carbs are and how much damage they cause to one's health.

They put warnings and graphic images of diseases on cigarette packets, and in my opinion they should do the same thing with processed junk food, fast food and anything high in refined sugar.

There should also be more education in schools about this, but then the food industry wouldn't have so many people throwing away their money to satisfy their sugar addictions.

The only reason its becoming such a rise is men are settling for less than what they deserve or a man settles for the woman he can afford and in this economy it isn't that high of a standard.

There are also chubby chasers out there. This porn fills that niche.

Agreed. People tend to just look at a package that states "250 calories per serving" but fail to realize that there are 2.5 or more servings for container and down the whole package thinking its only 250 calories they consumed.

I think they should have a giant message stating "Warning. If consumed in excess may cause Diabetes" on candy in some form or another.

Their has been a sort of education being phased in a bit. When I went to high school we had an over zealous gym teacher and a system that set up health and gym class as a two year program.... that was unless you were in orchestra or band then you could subvert it and only take a 1 year version.... and guess who were the overweight kids?

Their was also a cooking class as well called "Intro to Food" that taught us the core concepts of mapping out a structured healthy eating plan for a month that was a semester. Was nice but you had to do better than a B- to get into it in Health and Gym Basics along with having less than 3 Fine Arts credits. Shame really as it could have benefited many more students in my school if they had instead of the 16 out of 24 credits needed to graduate be 18 of them to have a better health diet encompassing all aspects of their lives.

Look at this chart. One thing ive noticed is that the problem becomes even bigger as the technology age starts rising. More people sitting at computers = Less activity. Instead of being out doors interacting with people, Today you can lay down and chat with anyone in the world. Not to say thats a problem but it does cause less activity and with so many shows and reality TV on a load of channels available through cable TV, many people now stay home mostly to watch their shows. Add that with the horrible diet many people have its all down hill from there.

One more thing to add is that today many over weight woman think its just fine to be fat because the media or whatever source says "Big and Beautiful" so they think "YEAH! its OK!" the hell it is,... Its not about accepting big and beautiful its more about avoiding a heart attack.

^ I blame her for a lot of it. She does these speeches where she promotes being fat as a good thing. A topic on her late night show a LOT of the time (Before it got cancelled) was "We aren't fat but Voluptuous. Men cant change what is natural. We are large, proud and here to stay." I saw that after flipping through the channels at 11 pm one night and nearly vomited.

Its all about accountability, when you're not accountable of your action most of the time you'll take the easy, lazy, pleasable way.

People who smoke are heavily taxed because they're gonna cost the welfare much money when they'll get sick, obese people and club rats should face the same conseguences.
If you rape your body for the pleasure of the moment you're asking for getting sick, whetever its a lung cancer, hearing problems, killing your brain with meths or eat crap alla day long.

You either let people free of hurt themselves with no conseguences for others or either force them to pay back those who will take care of them.
