Idk i always get it from her though. I sat across from her, and at the time, i didn't even say anything to her, i was just laughing because a friend of ours made a joke. then suddenly she comes out and says

I think it really depends on the context of which she used the "you're cute/adorable" "compliment".


If a girl were to whisper to one of her friends that she thinks a guy is "cute",then that would be good.


Another thing is that women use words like "cute" two different ways.

One way is to describe someone's physical appearance,and the other way is a emotional reaction.

Physical appearance: A woman is out with her friends,sees a guy across a room,and says to one of her friends,"Umm,that guy's cute".


Emotional reaction:A woman's friend brings her newborn baby to her house and she sees him for the first time. When she sees the baby,she goes,"Ohhh,look how precious he is! Ohh,he's so cute,he's sooo adorable".


So the same word is used for two different reactions.



With the physical appearance,there's a slight bit of attraction there based on the guy's looks.


With the emotional reaction to the baby,there's NO ATTRACTION there,only a warm feeling at how tiny and fragile the newborn is.
Basically her "motherly" instincts of protecting their young was activated.


You DON'T WANT to be called "adorable" by a woman you're interested in.


"Cute,sweet,adorable,precious"...don't turn a woman on.


A man should be described by a woman as being tough,powerful,a leader and a protector.
