I had a second date tonight with a HB7. She called a few hours before the date and told me that something was fudged with the pipes in her apartment and the water is not working at all and she has to stay for maintenance as they need to get into her room.

I told her in a calm but serious tone that this was kind of an inconvenience as I made a reservation for dinner. She apologized profusely and told me that she is free next week. I didn't set a day however and I plan on calling her back on Sunday for that.

I do see her in school as she's a classmate. In your guys opinion, how do you think I should react/talk to her tomorrow as I see her in class?

I am going to give her one more chance because if I was in the same situation, I would of cancelled too.

Just play it cool; don't do anything different. Keep your plan, because I don't think someone would come up with that kind of excuse if it wasn't legitmat. On the other hand, it may have been an excuse, and if you find she has yet another one, then she is not interested.

Yea. One more chance. Looking back at the phone call, I feel I was a bit harsher than she deserved and I think tomorrow before class I'll pull her aside and tell her I was just having a bad day (I'll say I got a bad grade on something, etc) and if I made her feel bad (I'm not going to say guilty as she should be feeling guily LOL) then I apologize.

But anyway, for those who may be thinking that I have ONE-itis, I do indeed have a coffee date tomorrow with a HB8.

If I was still in total AFC mode right now, I'd be pretty damn depressed but honestly as I type this I have been in better moods.

Anyway, to cure this I'm about to head to Starbucks to do some light sarging. :)

no, hold on. Her pipes are down? lol, seriously, minutes before the date, her pipers just happen to be down......lol, come on dude seriously. For one, dont date your classmates, get them attracted to you and use them for social proof to fvck their friends. Fvcking people you have to see everyday can be a positive or a negative but its 50/50, why take the chances, hell if you're feeling so lucky you might as well play the lotto.

I dunno, she might be sincere about the pipes, I dont know, can't never say never. I just don't think you should date your classmates anyway, but get them attracted to you and use them for social proof around campus, so girls will be like, he knows a lot of girls, and that will make you more attractive. Ask me, theres a 50/50 chance she could be lying or telling the truth, either way, dont go apologizing to her tomorrow, dont go gettin all sensitive on her tomorrow. Actually, you just play everything cool tomorrow and let her come speak to you, dont go and speak first.

She asked ME out for the first date.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.
