When a girl says `your not my type` do you think that is a test ive had it said to me once and i just laughed n said thanks for the backhanded compliment and she said how is that a compliment n i said because i know you wernt being serious. any other good comebacks incase this happens again?

hmm i dont know but for some reason i never accept that they actually mean that i ended up having sex with the girl who said that before and she also ended up admitting she was always attracted to me but didnt want to admit it.

Since I'm tall, handsome and athletic, I could say any number of things which play on that, such as:

"Right, you must like the short, balding guy with love handles. I know some guys like that; maybe I can hook you up.''

Basically think of the good qualities that you have, assume that you are not her type because she wants someone with those opposite qualities and play on it.

Since as a DJ you have a sense of humor, how about "Ah, you must like serious guys with no sense of humor. Well, a simple three second makeover can turn me into one of those. Watch!" Then wipe a hand over your face, revealing a stern expression.'' Then I'd continue, in a serious voice. "Okay, now what do guys like this talk about? Hmm, cough cough, this is difficult, I wouldn't really know. How about: Life sucks. Rap lyrics are offensive. Oh, what, I can move my neck! I think the stick in my butt is riding too low!"

What do you guys think of these ideas?

sting for your first post i think thats a very good idea, i got an idea from a work colleuge who accidently spat out bits of a buiscuit while he spoke n i was like you dirty bastard and then he laughed and made a spray of buiscuit come out and pretending to talk - i think this is a good idea if u ever accidently spit food - within reason of course

Okay, so what if she really does not like you and never will? That doesn't mean you can't have a little bit of fun with it anyway.

And there could be other people within earshot who could be your real audience anyway. How you react isn't about converting her into liking you, and must not come off that way.

Think about the comedian being heckled. Does he care about making the heckler like him? No. Will he ever see the heckler again? No, and he doesn't care. Yet, the comedian has to be on his feet and respond to the heckler.

You guys are so funny with your black and white absolutism. I think a wise man will read the undertone of this comment and then decide a course of action. Obviously it worked for the OP to not believe what the girl was saying. I'm not sure if you negative guys noticed but he said he ended up banging her.

Here is the deal: whoever has the strongest reality wins. In the case of the OP his reality of her being attracted to him was stronger than hers of him "not being her type." Of course it is probably more complicated than that since I also think this was a test.

So, here is the MrCode rule for this: assume it is a test and give her some good C&F to reverse the frame, like in
StringShredder's example. Of course in the OP's case he just ended up calling her on her bluff and passed the test with flying colors, which may be an even better option. Experiment and see which works best for you.
