I don't agree. I think sex gives women power. Not just withholding it, but using it. It depends on the girl really. Once I "give my body up" to a guy (which by the way, I'm not "giving up" anything, I'm getting)... I don't feel emotional, we haven't shared something sacred, we've just ****ed. Period. Especially if you **** her really early on, it is obvious that it's just ass and not much more. The longer a girl waits to **** a guy, I think the MORE she likes him, the MORE she wants it to be a relationship. It's not really winning or losing, it's two different games. No one wants to "trick" a guy into a relationship, so if you **** her early on, it's obvious what you want and then you don't have the power so much as you think. Because now we know EXACTLY where your head is (no pun intended). Just a different perspective you might not have thought of.

I slept with my girl on the first date. Now we have got more distant. Its been nearly 2 weeks and we haven't done it since.

We both want to be a couple but I think she regrets having sex so soon. We have said we are going to "slow things down" We are still in touch and neither of us seems overly clingy, or overly distant. Well like I said, it depends on the girl. I usually end up in bed on the first date, but I'm usually not looking for a second date anyway... so maybe I'm not the best girl to use as an example here. I'm just saying that it definitely depends on the girl's personality... and on what you are looking for in terms of "power". This is so true and backs up my past experiences with women.
I used to think I was doing myself a favor by waiting out on the sex and that the girl would think highly of me for being patient . Boy was I wrong.

Come to think of it, the only relationships that lasted more than several weeks were ones where I had sex sooner rather than later. If you give a girl great sex amd make her orgasm, she is going to be hooked and that gives you the power in the relationship.

In fact I begin to suspect a girls motives and put her in the LJBF category if I don't get it by the 3rd or 4th date. If two people are naturally attracted to each other, they are going to have sex sooner rather than later and the emotional bonds will be that much greater. That is why I will next unless she puts out within that time frame because either she is a gold digger, professional dater or someone with serious emotional problems.

You say that it depends on the girls personality but I disagree. Plus I don't think the guy's objective is in any way relevant either. Sexual consummation is a big part of relationships whether they be short term or long term.

For STRs the window of oppurtunity to solidify sexual rapport with certain woman is very small, despite what some women claim. So if a guy wants an ONS it behooves him to be assertive with his sexuality and to do it quickly.

For LTRs the window of oppurtunity to establish an emotional bond is also very small, and again, despite what some women claim. Going straight for the booty demonstartes masculinity and assertiveness, qualities that are necessary for LTRs. The faster that these important traits are proven, the better.

Ashlee Angel wants unattached sex and gets it by banging her quickly. I wanted a quality LTR and got it by banging her quickly. Different objective. Different girls. Different personalities. However in both cases, Ashlee's advice works.
