I am 6'3 and 16years old. I was about 170pounds when i first looked in to the possibility of body building, and i knew that i had to bulk.

I then made it my mission to put on weight through protein and red meats, which i did. Now, im around 185 pounds (still 6'3).

I have been working out for about 2 weeks. Am i being too impatient?

THanks,

Donny

yes, you went overboard. A lot of it is fat and water... You should be gaining about 2-3 lbs a week. Yet another example of why you should document your training cycles - so you can see exactly where you fukked up and then fix it so you don't repeat it again.

This guy must of taken his protein in milkshake form 3x a day for 2 weeks.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

15 pounds in 2 weeks is NOT going to be muscle. The only thing that would even come close to that figure is if you were doing a 20 rep squat routine three days a week and drinking a gallon of milk a day, or eating like a freakin bear (a Dragondoor guy gained 26 pounds in 4 weeks using this routine, most of it muscle), and even then that is pushing it.

Noooo, i didn't gain 15lbs in 2 weeks. I started my 'eating routine' properly about a month ago, just to get in the swing of things.

Should i keep eating as i am, e.g bulking or should i cut down?

Thanks lads,

Donny

P.S I DO do shiit loads of squats

I don't have a diet, i just eat five/six meals a day which all have a basis of meat (e.g protein).

I drink a lot of water aswell, about six pints a day.

well there's your problem, you may be getting too much fat or not enough protein, too many calories, or missing something or having too much of anything. it's hard to tell without planning. that's like building a house without a floor plan. Figure out exactly what you want to do, research to see what will bring that result and then put that plan to action

Ok. But it seems strange to me - i've onl;y been bulking for nigh on a month and i've already got a little bit of fat round my waist. Unbelievable.

Will my weight-lifting routine get rid of the fat?????? bearing in mind that i weight lift three times a week.

I don't do a split yet, so a routine for me is something like this:

Squat: 3x10
Bench: 3x6
Behind-neck-press: 3x4
Military press: 3x4
Barbell Rows: 2x10

I'm quite knackered after this, as it takes me about 30mins in total.

Thanks

Donny

I bet your diet is high in carbs and sugar in addition to protien and fat.

Post a typical day of what your food intake is like.
