I was about to ask this girl to prom.
She was walking with her friends to lunch, and i went up and said "can i steal her from you guys for a sec?" They didn't care, but the girl i was about to ask jsut grabbed on to her friends backpack and ignored me.

I mean wtf, she's the one usually following around to class, and coming up to me. I know she likes me, but damn, but confidence just went down the drain.

i sent an e-mail (we have a school e-mail system) to her saying to meet me after school. I'm gonna try to ask her again.

Don't be discouraged, at your age people are really finicky & overly worried about what others think. Find another way to isolate and you should get a response. However her reaction should also be an indicator.
