WTF, I look weird, i have a big body, but small arms.

I also want to lose some body fat but if i do, i'll be a skinny bastard again. right now, i'm 5'9" 149-151 pounds. last year, before college, i was about same height (maybe grew 1/4 an inch), but only 135 pounds. I just turned 18 this june. this body fat is causing me too look a little like i have a big body, and small arms. what weight training or excercises should i do? and what should i do first? should i do curls first before losing weight? or do curls, and keep weight? because i DO NOT want to look like the skinnny mofo i was before.

You can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, they aren't mutually exclusive.

Curls are great, but if you want to have decent looking arms, make sure you work your triceps well, they make up a larger percentage of your arm mass. If you neglect them it will be hard to get that solid look.

you will only gain a negligible amount of muscle (usually less than 5-8 lbs.) and that usually only happens with newbie lifters. Once you have a couple of years under your belt, then that is no longer quite true.

yes, triceps make up 70% of your upper arm mass.

You are a classic hardgainer just like myself. The bad news is it is going to take you about a year for each 10 pounds of lean body mass you want to gain. The good news is you can cut almost effortlessly.

For you and I, diet is far, far, far, (FAR!) more important than gym work. You will build muscle with your fork, not with a bar.

Eat right, lift hard with freeweights (machines suck!), never overtrain, be patient and stubborn. You'll get there.
