Hey guys, I got a typical skinny guy problem. Now first off, I am 6'3" 200 lbs. so I am pretty strong, but most of my mass is in my chest, shoulders, and biceps. I am starting to work harder on legs, but one thing that is bugging me is my skinny wrists. I have long limbs so I'm trying to work on this. Anybody know a way to work on my extremities like wrists? I have been doing some forearm exercises lately, but the aren't helping too much. It's kinda funny, I have gone from 180 to 200 and thought I'd look kinda big, but I really think I need to go to 230-240 now before I look how I want.

Your wrists are a bone/joint. You can't make them larger. Sure, lifting will increase bone size/density, but not to the extent where you have huge wrists. I suggest just building up some forarm size, then you'll love your skinny wrists. It makes your arms look bigger than they really are.

Well, I for one have really skinny wrists and YES they can be worked in the gym (not so much in the typical bodypart fashion but they can be worked)

Your body is covered in muscle and the same rule applies to building muscle anywhere on your body, hit it then rest it.

All you have to do to build wrists is squeeze the bar whenever you're lifting, it's that simple. When doing benches, squeeze, when doign military presses, squeeze, when doing bicep curls, squeeze. I'm willing to guess you have skinny ankles too so you also might wanna try the 'farmer's walk' or whatever when you carry some heavy dumbells on your side and walk til you drop.

Good Luck.
