wow - UNBELIEVABLE cold approach pickup, but also a QUESTION

ok this might soudn ridiculous, but the following cold approach occured in a spur of the moment type of situation -

I am driving and I stop at a red light (im alone in the car), and right b4 i got to the light, i saw a really cute jogger chick walking in the same direction as i was driving.....she walked by me JUST as the light was turning green and i couldnt resist it and rolled down my window, yelled at her "HEY!" twice (she had headphones one), on the 2nd time she stopped (cuz i yelled louder), and i saw the light just turned green and i said this exact line:

"hey your really cute!! but as u can see (refering to the green light) i have no time to talk, so just gimme her #!"

she actually gave me her # as cars were honking at me for standin at the green light.

Now, here is my QUESTION, cuz i really didnt kno wat to do in this case.

I got her # without talking to her about ANYTHING, so i decided to call her rite away (to make sure it wasnt a fake, and it actualyl wasnt to my surprise cuz i got her voicemail and it was the same exact voice i just heard when she gave me her #). I called her 1 minute after i got her # and left her a message sayin this was the guy in the car, my name is xxxx, this is my # so i wanted to let u kno that. Called her back the next day, she didnt pick up, and havent called since....by the way this happened only 2 days ago.

SO did i do the right thing by callin her right away like that? (given that she didnt even kno my name or whothe hell i was!!!)

dunno y she even gave me her #, probly thought i was cute or somethin

anyway, any don juans have advice on this? did i do the right thing or did i **** up?

I doubt you could've done any better.
If she doesn't answer or return your call it has nothing to do with the amount of time you waited after calling her. She is simply not intersted. Maybe she was at the moment.
But good job on the approach.

Yes you can number close very very fast but the problem some girls may not ever answer, the number close game is not a wise move.
I could get well over 10+ numbers a night by doing the fast number close, but more often then not you realize it does not pay, since about 7/10 are fake and the other 3/10 you cant speak to em notmally, sometimes it pays though. But i do know guys who make this work, i have alos made it work but i avoid it if i can, untill i build up some form of repoirt at the very least and see attraction or the other way around.
