Wow...i think i just had an AFC flashback

Now i know i havnt posted much, but im not new and am no longer an AFC. But tonight i scared myself. A girl that i have been friends with sent me a text asking for a ride. But for about the past 7 months we havnt really talked other than saying hi in the halls, and the only time she would call me was when she needed things. Most of the time i would say no and on an occasion i would say yes (she is supposedly a friend afterall) but tonight i was fed up. So i called her and said

Me: hey
Her: hi
Me:well ill be honest with you. your a cool girl and i like you, but for a while now the extent of our friendship has been saying hi in the halls. Whats that? Nothing. So i dont feel obligated to go out of my way and give you a ride.
her:alrighty
me:bye

Now im guessing when you read that you felt a chill in your spine, because after i hung up the phone i did. You see i feel that i just pulled an extreamly AFC move. I should have just told her no. I dont know....seems like no big deal but i scared myself because i dont know where that came from and i dont want to go back to the AFC days.

....great now im paranoid.

Actually what you did wasn't AFC. Perhaps it wasn't the BEST way to handle it, but it wasn't AFC.

Saying a definitive no is almost never AFC.

Not AFC, could have been handled better, but definately not AFC. I had some users like that in my life before I changed. Ironically they got together and had a talk about how I'd changed and was "an ass" a few months after I started coming here and changing my life. All I did was stop doing them all these little favors I'd been doing before in hopes of getting in their favor.
