place to place.
i usually have the biggest smile wherever i go, but tonite it got wiped off my face really quick. i got a second job, cause i seen a gibson guitar i wanted and it would take no time to get it with the money this company pays. so this place seemed awesome. but this is something i thought died in high school!

so i was learning how to do this and that, and all of a sudden this guy said "go help retard" i thought he was friends with that guy and he was just teasing him. and when i introduced myself, he started slurring his speech and he was genuinely handicapped. i was shocked that he got away with saying that in front of the formen. as i was helping him, this girl walked by and did some skanky rub down on herself and said to him are you gonna get some of this from your girlfriend tonite and she laughed and walked away. he then put his head down saddened. i felt really bad for him because nobody stood up for him. it was his lucky day, i was there.

i waited around to see who would take a crack at him and it was the same two who made fun of him before. i said hey leave the guy alone! how would you like it if i called you stupid. the girl started laughing and i said your no better slu-tty. she took offense and i said it doesn't feel good does it. it was more vulgur than that but it's censored.

conclusion- i went out for a smoke and everybody turned their back to me like some kind of prick. i take i'm not very liked there. but it felt good that the one person who nodded at me was the guy they were making fun off.

is this guitar really worth it?

The guitar itself is worth it, maybe you'll be a rock star one day and I'll be standing in line to buy an album ... but the way I see it, the job is no way worth it.

They say you can judge a country by the women they have. Hm...

Ditto. You did the right thing.

I've always thought that sticking to your principles is more important than what those principles actually are.

And I've been in situations where I was sure that standing up for my principles would get me fired, only to get promoted instead.

For example, I started my career as a temp file clerk for a large insurance company. Every week the underwriting staff would bring in bagles and donuts for breakfast. Not being shy, I helped myself, since they were for everyone, only to be told "sorry, none of the food is for temps". I replied with "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I wasn't good enough to eat one of your bagels. Clearly you are a very important person, and it was presumtuous of me to assume you would share with a lowly temp", went home, and contacted the temp agency for a new assignment. One of the VPs heard about it, called me at home, and offered to hire me with a permanent position at the company and put me in a different department. He was my first real mentor, and my first real job started because somebody was an ******* and I called them on it. But I handled it in a way that the management liked.

You ran into one of life's sh1t tests, and you passed with flying colors. Knowing that your not some spineless pvssy is at least equal to a guitar in my book.
