I feel like handsome / very handsome = nice face + some body game to no body game
hot = okay face (average face) + good body game

I think you’re getting top granular. There isn’t really an agreed vocabulary. Nor is there an agreed ranking. I have been called: ‘good looking’. really good looking’. ‘hot’ ‘swank’. ‘handsome’ blah blah….
Assuming this is consistent & unsolicited. Then you’re good. Don’t worry about it.
