Would you ever get cosmetic surgery?

Studies have shown that LOOKS do matter and attractive looking people are treated better, seen as more intelligent, socialable, are looked up to more and have a better chance of having an attractive looking partner than there less attractive counterparts.

I think plastic surgery is great and if some facial imbalance is making you unhappy, then fix it.

I do think it is sort of vain for those who are already fairly attractive and have it done, but for those who are ugly or average, it is a Godsend.

Gyno isn't visible when you have clothes on - save your money for something else, unless you look like Bob from Fight Club (which was a total exaggeration of what gyno looks like).

I had the fat bags under my eyes removed by laser surgery. Only cost $2500. People don't say to me, "you always look tired" anymore. Next step is botox on my forehead and crows feet around my eyes.

I have a friend who is an executive for a very high profile company who advocates cosmetic surgery in addition to dressing for the job you want - not the one you have.

I've chatted with many guys about this. There are some small tweaks you can make that will make you 100x more attractive. If your ears stick out like dumbo and it only costs $1000 to have them pinned back, then ****knig bite the bullet and get yourself fixed.

I'm considering a chin implant or genioplasty for my weak chin which makes my already prominent nose look bigger from the side profile. I have had people tell me I look like Christopher from the Soprano's (not a compliment) he has a big nose AND a RECESSED CHIN that makes his nose look bigger.

My nose is not perfect, but it does not hook (which would warrant surgery)

Look what facial surgery did to this one woman from Extreme Makeover. She also had her jaws cut and respositioned which the main feature in ther dramatic change. She went from ugly to hot, simply amazing.

Deus, I agree with your stance on looks, but you really need help, man. You whine all the time about how unconfident you are, but I never see you post anything that describes how you're trying to improve yourself. Why don't you join a boot camp or something.

i love my looks, i'd just like to get my scars from old acne taken away. they aren't too bad, of course no one can see it as much as me. people see their own looks more than anyone else can.

but i'd love to take something to boost my height. height is definitely a factor.

no "surgery" per se for me, but maybe one of those painful leg "stretching" surgeries for me and sit in a wheel chair for months and have my bones cracked and pulled for months. but let me shell out thousands and thousands of dollars for that... or just accept my height.

actually, i wouldn't mind being a hermit for a year if i were rich enough to afford it and not work (since you can't really work for those months). because it would suck for a year until i can stand as tall as everyone else. but in the long run it'll forever make me happier having looks + height.

How tall are you? I think they will only do that surgery if you are under 5'8" or something. It cost something like $80,000 and will only add 3 inches to your height.

Well, yes, I can see your point. That is very short for a male. However, I want to let you know that height is OVERRATED. This is coming from a 6'0 male who DOES NOT have women throwing themselves at him because he is tall. It is an advantage, but NOT the end ALL BE ALL.

Gyno as well, but we'll see what will happen to it at 10% body fat.


What I do have is rolled and none symmetrical ears, on otherwise very attractive face. I look like a wrestler with them. I'd fix those. Also I have a bent finger from a crash, it needs to be bent back. One of my testicles is bigger than the other one, so perhaps make them equal size.

Height is so relative man.

I'm 5'8.5" and I always feel short, wishing for a few more inches to get to 6' or 6'2 or something. Even though statistically I know I'm about average.

I know plently of 6' guys who want the extra few inches to be 6'4. And even 6'2 guys who want the extra few inches t be 6'5. A lot of it's just in your head.

they charged me $6000 to clean up the acne scars on my face! when i first went for a consultation they brought in this fast talking salesman...i thought it was gonna be like 2500 and he saisd itll only cost 6000, i dont know what i was thnking...he didnt even have pics to prove that this works...all he kept saying was theyre the most ghigh tech place and blah blah blah...

its not even working, i missed a couple appointments because i got frustrated of it not working...then they took 2 out of 8 procedures away from me because i missed those appts!!! the peop0le there are very rude if you dont buy medication when they ask you too (i think theyre on commision)

Sorry to hear about that man, I have old acne scars and still as Acne too at this age and it freaking sucks!
