I'm seeing this girl now for about 4 months. Everything is going well. She's really cute, intelligent and just an all around cool girl...great connection since the first night we met (had a really good make out session...she hasn't done that very often after just meeting someone). I've only been seeing her about once every 2 weeks for now and we recently started having sex...she made me wait and I really liked that about her. Anyway, she's a great girl and I really enjoy her and I know that she really likes me too. Things had been good in my mind until the other night when we were talking about past relationships.
She told me that the last guy she dated was about a month or so before she met me. He approached her in a club and seemed to be an intelligent guy with alot going for him. They were seeing each other for about a month and a bit. Anway, I was surprised to hear that they had started having sex about 3 weeks into it after the 4th or 5th date. It surprised me because it seems kind of fast FOR HER. SHe hadn't dated anyone for more than a few dates since her last serious boyfriend, which had been about 2 years earlier and they were in love so it really screwed her up for a bit when they broke up. SHe also seemed to end up being set up with guys who ended up annoying her in some way. This was the first guy in a long time who didn't annoy her and she thinks this is why she thought she liked him so much even if she did find him "boring". Anyway, it took her awhile to trust me(thought I was a player from the first day we met) and for us to start having sex and it really caught me off guard that she had slept with this guy since she always made her past boyfriends wait.
Anyway, back to things with the previous guy - apparently they had been going on dates and talking on the phone so she just assumed that they were dating. Also, this guy turned 30, she was 25 so she thought to herself "he really likes me, we're both mature enough...why wait until later since nothing is going to change"...that's what she told me. So she slept with him a few times or so, but a little while afterward when they were talking about where the relationship was heading he said that he couldn't get into anything serious. He was Jewish so he blamed it on that as well (she's not jewish)I guess he was looking for something more casual, so she ended it with him even though he still wanted to keep seeing her.
Anyway, back to me....it kind of bothers me that she slept with the guy earlier than she slept with me (I know that he's probably why she took so long to trust me....said she went back to being like her old distrustful self) and that she was able to get played like that. Don't why...I know it probably shouldn't matter. Just wondering what other guys think of this situation and if you would even care about this past info. Let me know.
