Would you bother following up?

There is this girl at my school....she was giving me constant IOIs, but idk what happened; when she signed my yearbook, I told her to write down her #, and she just said "nope, I don't like you like that."

I just ignored it and went on to other people. Now, in today's world it's easy to contact people via things like facebook, and I'm sure we'd have lots of mutual friends and it wouldn't be totally random. Would you bother say....adding her a few months down the line and trying again? Or should I just forget her?

Forget it... she may have been interested in you initially and you blew it somehow (we'll never know) or you just thought she was giving you mad IOIs, because you noticed her (not questioning your judgement at all, but who knows girls are confusing that's why there's millions of posts detailing their behavior). Either way she failed to see what a great guy you are and thus didn't want to pursue the relationship further.

IMO I wouldn't want to bother with a chick like that anyways, getting her phone number wasn't insinuating you liked her like that... just that you were interested in talking/hanging out sometime in the future. Go find other broads to tinkle your fancy.

The bottom line: She has LOW interest and will be more work than she is worth

Thanks. She probably is getting hit on all the time, so that's what she assumed...plus we've only recently started speaking. oh well, plenty others

another thing is..dont know if this is a fact or not but i think girls like it when guys are brave so when u ask her for her # u have to show some genuine interest and not use excuses such as the yearbook to get numbers..those subtle things are more what girls do

True, but I have only been interested in her for about a week...and I've only seen her twice in that time. She's in my lab group in physics class.

I truly don't think there was anything wrong with the way I asked for it.

But anyway, I just think she's hot...she is horrible at holding conversation. Maybe it's for the better.
