For sometime I've had this idea of creating a club where man and women can release their anger and at the same discuss ideas to resolve their issues. This club specifically would deal with people who are dissatisfied with politics (because this one issue that I'm really concerned about). It would be geared towards the discussion in the topics of society, economy, and world order. Candidates do not have to be knowledgeable in the above topics, but must have a strong desire for change.
Candidates: men/women 21 - 45 who are angry at government and are willing and capable of physical contact sports
The weekly sessions would consist of:
10 minutes of free conversation
20 minutes of outrage release (fighting)
45 minutes of ideas sharing
So people would have 10 minutes to pair up and get to know each other and discuss the topics they feel most strongly about. They can also use this time to vent.
In the 20 minutes of fighting, each person has 2 minutes to fight someone he picks. Only people who agree on each other's viewpoints can fight. If one person can not agree with another one on a specific viewpoint, they cannot fight each other. This is because the fights cannot be based on anger towards the other fighter, this way we avoid real altercations, as only people who were able to bond can fight each other.
If one person is not able to fight 3 straight sessions because he could not be in agreement with anyone, they are kicked out. This is the process through which we filter those who will not be constructive towards the ideals of the club.
We then devote the last half of the time to have a group discussion on solving the issues that concern us the most, we share ideas, discuss developments, and try to find solutions.
Let me know if this is something you would be interested in
