You don't think there are enough girls for the picking? Think about this the next time you are wrapped around and caught up in ms. special and only. the main problem many of us guys face is thinking in such low availabilty, access, and numbers;and depending on proximity, yes, you may need to take your ass a bit closer to where they flock. Not all the fields are pretty pastures the pretty girls like to frollick and play at.

That's why I mentioned proximity. You can live in an area with low numbers of all those, as long as you remind yourself that's not all there is or that you have to settle for. On the other hand...it's facinating how we forget how ****ing populated this world is when we are sitting alone in our room whining over 1 *****. lol It's quite absurd. And, depending hown open you are with women, and your standards, yes, this will create a false perception in many guys that there are next to no women, haha.

I actually ran the numbers back in 2002 on the raw 2000 US census data for white women in my age range + locale and came up with numbers that I still remember to this day:

LA County... 115 men for every 100 women
Orange County... 124 men for every 100 women
San Diego County... 129 men for every 100 women

I took the raw census numbers, then found the population I was interested in (20-30 year old white, educated, single, etc. women) and then ran those numbers versus the cohort of men I would likely be competing against to bag those women, and I got the numbers above. I don't think the census asks for sexual orientation so the number of gays & lesbians are not accounted for.

Granted that was 10 years ago and my demographic has changed. In any event, out West there are (or were) lots more 20-something white dudes than 20-something white chicks. I know in NYC the numbers are switched.

The demographics of your specific location play a huge role, because you're not going to be driving 300 miles for poon (hopefully).

According to this link, men outnumber women for every age group up until age 40. Women live longer than men, so a lot of the "extra" women are aged.

In order to count, women have to outnumber guys seriously in order to have them feeling the competition thus getting in shape and be less demanding.

Good point. Considering such stats and data, it is rather elusive. I mean, there are many variables to take into account, but I grasp the reality of your point here. However, many girls and guys will eventually pair up, be that by desire, want, or just-the-sake-of-having-a-mate/provider-available factor. You see this alot in smaller cliques and groups in smaller communities where choice is limited and options are take-what-you-can-get mentality.
