Before I start, this isn't 15 year old work experience you do for 2 weeks while in high school.
I've found that i have a little extra time this semester, and i've found that i could fit in 1 full day of work (8 hours) on a Friday. In past semesters, I have been studying at Uni 5 days a week (bad scheduling, they weren't all full days), and fitting in an 8 hour shift at a local factory to pay my bills. This semester i have 2 days completely off, and 1 afternoon off.
In my afternoon off, I'll do my normal 8 hour shift at the factory, but rather then take on an extra shift there, I'm thinking it would be more beneficial to offer my services to a company related to my degree.
What I want to know, will this work experience be looked at favourably when looking for a full time position in about a year, or will it just be dismissed as doing the worst mundane tasks that this company could find for me to keep me out of there hair?
To date, I've completed 2 years of a 3 year degree.
