Women unable to truly undersand male sex drive?

Hey, longtime lurker. I'm in my mid-30s and dating a few different women (MLTRs). Wanted to run something by folks here to see if it's just me or their experience too.

Seems to me that women have a fundamental inability to understand the male sex drive and its overpowering need for sexual variety. They don't--and can't--understand at a gut level the desire that men have to bang tons and tons of beautiful women.

The reason I say this is because of all discussions I have with women, whether I'm dating them or not, about Tiger Woods and Jesse James and all the dudes in the news who have been caught cheating on their wives and girlfriends.

Every single woman I know, to the very last one, says something like "He has such a smart, beautiful wife, why would he be interested in screwing other women?"

Now I'm not here to discuss whether it's moral or not to screw around on one's wife/girlfriend, but I think as men we can all agree that the temptation is always there. Men have a drive to spread their seed far and wide, no matter how "smart and pretty" their wives are.

I just think it's fascinating how women are completely unable to fundamentally understand this drive. I realize that women are looking to find the "best" and convince him to stick around, but I would think that they could at least put themselves in men's shoes and see the world to some extent the same way. But they can't. They can't "grok" the male sex drive. They just don't understand.

I guess OTOH I don't understand what it's like to want to give birth to a kid, so I'm in the same boat, but it's still interesting to me. I don't even have those discussions with women anymore, because they can never get it. They just keep yammering on: "But he had such a great life, why would he jeopardize it all?" These days I just say, "Honey, there's no way you could understand," and leave it at that.

I used to say, "Honey, no matter how happy men are, they still want to screw everything that moves. It's nothing personal, it's testosterone." They'd just scratch their heads and go, "But his wife is so great."

Women are massive liars. How many times have "smart, 'beautiful' (nice, gentleman-like, dedicated, considerate, loyal, etc)" guys been cheated on? I'll tell you in 2 words: too many.

The biggest thing in this situation is the fact that women just don't like to admit that they've done anything wrong. Even if Woods' wife hasn't put out in 10 years, she's put on 50 lbs, and showers every 4 days, its not her fault. Woods is a dog and he should be punished.

Of course they can't understand our sex drives. We produce something like 17x as much testosterone as they do. Even at their horniest, they don't come close to how we feel 24/7. That's why I always laugh when someone on here says that women want sex as much/more than men do.

I agree. They might "want sex" but it's not just because they're horny. They probably have 500 different reasons for wanting it whereas men have 1.

I think when women approach menopause and their bodies are producing more testosterone and less estrogen, they might get a TASTE of what it's like to have the sexual drive of a man. But even then it's only a small fraction of the true experience.

Perhaps what they don't understand, (and frankly what I don't understand either) is why these idiots got married in the first place?

I think cheating is wrong, end of story. I don't do it, never have, never will, and don't tolerate it in the girls I'm seeing.

The problem with Tiger and Jesse isn't that they are sleeping with multiple women, it's that they made an oath to be with only one, and are then douchbags and don't honour that.

Hell, look at George Clooney. The guy is ****ing a new model practically every week (and that's the ones we see, probably a bunch more flings we've never even heard of) and NOBODY gives him **** for it because he's a bachelor and free to live that lifestyle.

Tiger himself said she wasn't putting out. Society (and the media ofcourse) drown out the fact that she was an awful wife and give THEIR own one sided version of the story.

I agree, women ignore reality, i cant see any other reason why their actions betray their own thoughts, i mean women are a paradox, a easy one to understand but a paradox noneless.

This has a lot to do with the programming of western society. Women have been programmed from a young age that there angels and a man should only want them. Women also have the power. The programming and power women have IMO has really hurt the general relations and authenticity between men and women. Men and women are supposed to complement one another, not battle. Like you said on a fundamental level 1 woman will never be enough to satisfy 1 man

Yeah its a losing battle. There looking at the wrong channels. How perfect,smart, beautiful a woman is doesn't matter. Men are hardwired to be with an infinite number women in a life time for sex (15,000+) Women and men don't even have the same kind of sex drive. If we were to look at a graph of a lifetime sex drive of the average woman vs the average man the womans line would be all over the place with low points and high point following her hormones and eventually just fall off, where as a mans will be a steady line upwards even as he ages. This isn't anyones fault this is just how we are made. Women refuse to accept this though, so it creates a "battle" between men and women and coats interactions with a inauthentic flavor.

I don't think theres even an argument. Variety in sexual partners is a need in men just liking eating is. Its our purpose, its what were made to do, its the reason we eat, sleep, survive, protect, seek shelter etc, our entire being stems from this natural desire to spread our genes as much as possible in our life. A woman has the same natural desire to have babies and raise them, and thats what her purpose is. The comparison for a woman would be living in a society where shes not aloud to ever have a baby and if she does shes flamed across the media and has to enlist herself into "wanting to have a baby therapy" ........In terms of it being moral imo when a society is rigged where essentially all the women in it can't/refuse to accept your natural needs, how is it really immoral. Would it be immoral if Tiger woods or whoever was refused food but went out and got some anyways?

I can only speak for western society but would love to have someone from another society chime in on how things are. I love to believe there exists a place where woman are "real" and accept a man for a man.

For the USA women have the power. They don't need to understand a man's drive in there minds. If it happens to them they break up and get the support of the society feeling sorry for her and reinforcing that it wasn't her fault and the guy is scum. In reality is it wasn't her fault and it wasn't his fault. They both were doing what they were supposed to be doing. Shes supposed to be having sex with him according to her natural drive, hes supposed to be having sex with her and 1000 other women.

There are a few bits of hope in the sea of incorrectly programmed women. As women enter 35-50 age range they have more life experience and would have seen nature taking its course regardless of what people or society is telling them. They've been married and divorced most likely because of cheating, they've seen friends get cheated on, other family members divorcing, they see it on tv etc. At this point some of them will realize, "wow you know maybe this is just how men are" and then not make a scene of it. They'll think to themselves "I'm getting older, i'm alone, I enjoy the way a man makes me feel, i can hold on to this 1 man 1 woman thing and probably end up cheated on again like I already have been and my friends have, or I can just let this go and enjoy it for what it is"

Escorts/Callgirls/"legal high class prostitutes" definitely have a different non society programmed world view. The majority of there clients are married men and there well aware that a good portion of there money comes from a womans inability to accept a mans drive, so a man seeks them to handle his needs in a discrete way. In it for the money or not these women see day in and day out married men cheating on there wives and also get a more authentic interaction with men from being open and not judging. So what i'm saying is there exists women that see things our way or at least understand it.

We can't understand how it is to want to give birth but we don't tell her "you can never have a baby in your life" with society backing us up with tv shows, magazines, counselors, etc.. Where as they don't know how it is to want to populate the world, but tell us we can't.

Where and when did Tiger ever say his wife wasn't putting out? I have never seen that quote. Besides, that is not the reason Tiger has been with all these other women. He's been screwing around like this way before he was ever married. It's not as though his wife stopped having sex with him and he just couldn't handle it anymore.
