If a woman were genuinely beautiful, wouldn't men be taking her picture?

Seriously: is it just me, or is it beyond arrogant for women to be taking pictures of themselves in public? The worst are the arm-length photos where they aim the camera back at themselves. Can you imagine guys doing that?

Last night I was about to approach a group of 3 HB8's but stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that they were photographing themselves. This went on for about 10 minutes before I stopped paying attention (was playing pool 2 tables over).

And you know they'll immediately publish them online for the world to see, hoping to get many "likes" from their "friends" - most of whom they haven't seen in years.

And what is the end result? That men will like them more? Well how about paying attention to the men in the goddamn room?

I mean, why not just hold a mirror out? It's pure narcissism and it's the root of the rampant problems we are seeing with women and their hugely inflated egos.

Anyhow I have a new policy where I next any women who I see photographing themselves (and I also stopped "liking" their online pictures). Please join me.

It ticks me off too that half of what I see on facebook are either women posting photos of themselves or their friends commenting on them. It's like this vicious cycle where each girl tries to get as many "likes" and comments as possible so she goes around and does the same for all her friends. It's fake, it's transparent, and it lends itself to the observation that looking hot is all these girls have going on in life.

That said, all women do this to a certain extent. Personally it doesn't bother me as long as they're not doing it regularly. If you next every girl who's ever taken a picture of herself, you're wiping every female off your radar.

If you think that's bad think about going out with a group mostly made of girls who take picture of you with them while doing the most common thing like parking a car or leaving the stairs.

The "lets take a picture of everything" girls, what's so cool about upoloading a picture of you drinking some tea? yet they get likes and comments and right after return the favour commenting some other crap.

That fvcking "tag" button is even worse, just like on 100 pictures they upload the ones where they look slim, on 100 pictures of you they look for the one where you seem more "nice",as if they were bragging to have a guy as a puppet who has been domated,the poor bf of one of my gf's friends is the favourite target,they even put funny hats on him.

The only solution is take pictures of them while eating ice creams or zoom their asses from behind and comments with lines like "from the factory to the storage facility"...they get the hint.

Yes it's funny because you might think they are an HB8 or HB9, but once you realize THEY think they are an HB10 it's such a letdown.

Ah, the generation of the technology age. This is what this generation has become with cellphones and internet. A bunch of primadonnas who only value looks. Back in the day an average looking fellow could do very well with the ladies. Dressed nice with some good charm and he had it made. That same guy today has no chance because women value themselves way too much because of the internet, media magazines, cellphones, and social status. All their friends have good looking men. They want one too. They sure as hell wont pick some average joe. No matter how hard you try you will be fighting an uphill battle. I wish we could go back 30 or more years without all this useless stuff and you all would see a huge difference with dating and how women would be a lot different in their attitudes.

just accept that girls do gay sh*t like this, its just who they are more or less.

Thats what they do, they take pictures to show to their friends and what not and talk about the people in the pics, and gossip and what not. Its their inherent hobby. Its just what gets them off. Technological advances has created new hobbies and so thats how I look at it, same way guys play new age video games on xbox. Having said all that, it doesn't bother me, whatever, have at it.

And in a general sense, I've learned and continue to learn to stop complaining about the stupid things girls do and just learn to roll with it. Thats not to say I'm becoming a b*tch but just saying you're better off sitting back and getting a kick out of it and humoring them while maintaining the frame and getting in their pants. Most importantly whatever you do, you can't really care too much.

I see your point st_99, but it is indeed rare that we happen to be living during the generation where women - after 9,999 generations of seeking older, more mature, more stable men to provide for them (and being devoted wives and mothers) - have started acting like men by seeking only the youngest, prettiest things they can find.

Even if you are good looking, the women you used to get will seek only great looking men. Basically, every man now has to trade down.

Also, if women are now only out for looks, how can we expect them to be faithful to us? There is always a better looking guy out there, and they have 300+ contacts on FB contacting them in real time. Men would historically seek the best looking woman, but since they had a harder time scoring than women, it stayed in balance. Plus, by finding as many young, hot women as he could to sleep with, men propagated the species. Women doing this is completely dysfunctional.

facebook is a attention machine. so are all the other network sites. it a real life soap opera before your eyes. everybody has to have some drama or tragedy going on. even when you dont have any someone will find a way to start some. women need to show off to feel secure so they take lots of pictures. they need self approval so they ask for comments. each comment fills their ego. that justifies in their mind that they are worthy and beautiful. men do this too which is even worse. what is funny is when guys take pics with some random sexy girls and ask for comments. women know that she was just a stranger and he had no chance in hell dating her. makes the guy look really stupid. women will just add men to add to their popularity. that doesn't mean they will hang out with them. they try to talk to her but she has no use for them. you also have the people who mask their lives on there. their life is crap and they pretend it make it all rosey and nice or the people who have nothing going for them but they just lie for others to see. lots of broken marriages and relationships from those networks too. it wont change guys. it will only get worse with each new invention. this stuff is here to stay. welcome to the new generation. if you could go back 30 years you would know what I mean.

Correct. Forget about the theories like, "Like attracts like" or "Water seeks it's own level." At least that would be fair, but sadly it isn't the case. Generally, you'd better be at LEAST one point ABOVE her in looks. No more equal trade for equal value.
