Women and their moods

Quick question, and I assume a quick answer. Is it normal for women to jump through emotional mood swings almost instantly? Like being all flirty and acting like she wants to jump your bones, then the next day acting cold like you have leperosy. Another perfect example would be a girl telling how much she misses you and wants you to stay to be together with her, then a week later telling you she met and started dating another guy.

So I will ask again, is this normal behavior?

Disclaimer: With the only exception being the last statement, I am not in any way implying I am dealing with these scenarios right now.

More normal than abnormal. Women will change moods at the drop of a hat. I had a gal once tell me she wanted to marry me and she'd never leave me ... within a month she'd dumped my a$$ and was with another dude.

They live for the moment, good thing for all guys to learn.

Quick answer: Yep, its normal.

Don't even try to figure them out. It'l just give you a freaking headache. Generally, go by what they DO not say, but even then you have to judge the TREND of what they do and their interest level.

Of course, you gotta look at what YOU are doing too. I think there's about a BILLION words in this site that touch on that.

Over the years I look back on the one's that used that wonderful word "love" to me and, of course, feasted on my decaying entrails later.

Uhh, if the answer was NO, their would'nt be much need for this site.

Thats what I thought. I know from experience that women focus and act on emotions compared to men, who tend to be more logical and rational.

I will elaborate on why I asked this question: Last year I met a girl, slept with her and eventually decided to be in a relationship. A few months later, we broke up because I was planning on moving to another city, and I thought that would be the last I hear from her. Month and a half later she calls me out of the blue and against my better judgement, I decide to see her again (yeah, it was a very bad judgement call...I know better now). We decide to see each other. A month ago, she tells me she loves me and does not want me to go (of course I told her I have to go), she tells me she misses me. Two weeks later, she meets another guy and now she says she and him are seeing each other. No, "im going to miss you". She does still want me to email and chat with her. To me she no longer exists.

I can't wait til I move and get settled. I am going to enjoy being single again :D, but that is a topic for another thread :D

Sounds like a lot of exclusivity is assumed by you for yourself as well as for her. The other DJ's here will hammer you on having "oneitis" for her. This makes you vulnerable. Otherwise, why care if she sees someone else?

You know, of course, the TREND here is she still has high IL and the other guy is probably a throwaway.

If you can handle it and not get stuck on her, once you move and get other relationships going in another city she could still be a nice out-of-town periodic hook-up, just for fun. But's that's evil, right? Then the other guy will be posting here about "some bastard that screws my gf once every two months and I don't know what to do". Ok, enough terrible advice.

Just move, spin those plates in another city. You won't have to try to forget about her, the others will do it for you.
