Will this tax my back?

Okay, so for my shoulders I like to do Clean & Presses. I feel with the added cleaning motion I'll work other muscles and give myself a more, hurculean look. Though, I'm also doing Deadlifts the same day. Now, my clean and presses are obviously lighter than my deadlifts cause, I'm just using enough weight for my shoulders. But, I'm wondering if doing that and deadlifts in the same day would be too much on my back? I guess I could just switch to dumbbell shoulder presses or military press.

What do you guys think?

Well DanZy, I think I'll have to agree with you. I just don't want to over-train my back by doing extra cleaning movements. I'll stick to doing them for awhile and switch it up when necessary.

This is fine. There really is no such thing as over-training unless you're working out 2-3 times a day and not getting enough rest and eating enough.
