If you contacted an extremely rare disease, for which the mortality rate was 100% within 30 days, it would be no comfort to you that your odds of contracting the illness were 1/500m. However, the fatality rate for Swine Flu was much higher, and much broader, and the official response to it was virtually non-existent.
That's why it's important to contain it before you're giving it to your parents or elderly around you. Problem is that Corona is much more aggressive AND the mortality rate is about 10 times higher than a seasonal flu against a population that to this date is totally vulnerable since there's no immunity to it within the population. That's a c0cktail set up for severe consequences similar to war-like scenarios in some parts of the world if action is not taken, like you see evident in italy.

The fatality rate for ebola was much higher than Swine Flu and both of them weren't as threatening as this because it wasn't as contagious. Can't go on fatality rate alone. Politicians don't enjoy shutting down countries if they really don't have to, that should tell you something.

Yes. Flu is around 1:1 covid is 4:1
Somewhere in there.
Its alarming how fast it spreading. Thats what they are concerned with.

Ohio health dpt yesterday said an estimate of 100k carriers already.
The main problem from my source is that you can "get better" or get over the virus, BUT you still carry it for 6 months so you can infect people around you for 6 months. I was like "come again?" cause I couldn't here him. 6 months you are a carrier. He also says warm weather kills it so it will be gone by April, and the stock market will be back by December. He wanted to bet, but his idea of a "bet" is a million here a million there, I was like uh no way, my idea of a bet is like $300 maybe $2K.

Its all prevention at this point. I was invited to a house party tomorrow night and being that I know the house, some of it is a bit tight and it can get crowded. In normal circumstances, getting into some hotties personal space would be just fine with me, but I think that I'll just sit this one out and binge watch something on NetFilx. I'm also invited to join some people out at a bar for a birthday party tonight. If I go, it will be later when the crowd thins a bit.

Although I'm confident that I would be fine, aside from having a business to run, I don't want to infect others. My area is light on cases right now, but they are there. Due to the incubation period, I'm thinking that there are 5 times (or more) infected people walking around.

I am contemplating sticking with one girl for a while, win or lose. I have one on the hook who is a bit of a germaphobe and works from home. My current DREAM girl!

You can be sure of a Dec 2020 baby explosion globally
Italy could most definitely use one of those. We have the world's second oldest population after Japan. Italian couples often have one child, tops. Meantime our "guests" from down south are breeding like rabbits.

That's the point: we all survived, and barely anyone recalls the Swine Flu "pandemic."
Well, we all survived, but there were people who didn't.

For some perspective, look at motor vehicle crashes. 1.35 million people in the world are killed every year in traffic accidents (37,000 in the US). But we don't ban automobiles. If we banned automobiles and motorcycles, we could save 1.35 million people every year.

Most people are stupid; yet, most parents continue to surrender their children to govt schools, as if that were the cure for stupidity, rather than evidence of it.
Reminds me of the Billie Eilish thread. Her parents home schooled her and her brother, and encouraged them to explore the arts. And she ends up becoming a famous singer at age 14, with her brother writing songs with her and in her band (he's also had acting gigs). Makes you wonder what people could accomplish if they were supported in the right direction.

It has to be clear now to everyone with a working brain that this is a virus that was intentionally released with some of its goals being:

1) Kill off sick/elderly people who are in a lot of cases a burden to the state financially and socially. Seems like a let free euthanasia.
2) Lock people down in their houses especially so in Europe so they can naturally have babies. Yes, there will be a lot of babies born end of December/beginning of 2021 and it cannot be a coincidence that in Europe it did start in Italy, the country with one of the rapidly growing average age.
3) Slow down global warming effects, maybe scientists knew something we don't and they knew the whole atmosphere could get some healing from cars not being used and manufacturing slowing down drastically.

This is a virus that Russian scientists have confirmed has 4 HIV proteins and they said that cannot occur naturally so it is a well manufactured biological weapon with all the possible signs of one (is often dormant for 2 weeks, patient feels healthy and all, spreads in a much higher ration than a normal flu, etc). It is a engineered virus and no matter who threw it out there was probably in concordance with all the governments of the world.

They are doing what people won't do on their own: most people with a very old/sick person wouldn't euthanize them; more and more guys going MGTOW, more and more women being "independent and strong", no babies, no families, can;'t keep up a culture and a nation with a 1 baby per family average so lock the fackers down and let them have facking babies + none will give a fact about using their car less or travelling less by plane so let's stop travelling and let the planet breathe a little.

Knock off the conspiracy bullshvt. If this virus were man made it’s the worst biological weapon created. The fatality rate is shvt.
Well they won't have it kill 30-40 or 50 percent of the population, that's for sure. Just the old. The average age in Italy is about 80 years old. Older people dying like flies, a lot of them already sick with an important disease.

I will not believe it for a moment this is an accident and you can call me a conspirationist, I am not dwelving into anything else. Everything I mentioned is very actual topics including low child birth rates, populations growing older and older and pension system almost collapsing + global warming and its effects. I am not anywhere saying the reptilian aliens are doing this or anything like that. Just completely conceivable things.

You say the fatality rate is ****...you don't know a thing about this virus. How about this one maybe stays alive in patients for up a couple of months and it continues to infect and kill fragile people all over the world. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Neither you, nor I, know.

That was my point. Its fatality rate is absolutely low. Yes, higher than the flu, but OK, still very low. Enough to kill off the weak and the sick. Maybe not all right away, but in time. I mean, this virus will not go away anytime soon. It will be added to the cause of worldly deaths alongside HIV/AIDS, cancers and all that.

Interesting thought, but the common cold and flu will be In that death rate also. I wouldn’t put it in the same category as AIDS regarding severity and fatalities though, but it will go away soon enough when medical professionals develop a vaccine shot for it.

I wouldn't suggest there is a conspiracy. But I admit it has crossed my mind that the baby boomers are retiring, and the birth rate has declined. There aren't enough young workers to support the large number of elderly. It creates a financial burden. Something like this, that specifically targets the old, sick, and unhealthy seems like quite a coincidence. Maybe it's just nature's way of balancing things out.

Getting tested for something that kills 1% of the people who get it, and for which the average age of the dead is 80, is absolutely moronic....
(umm no)
the idea of testing is to let you know not to expose yourself to others if you are positive, so YOU dont spread it.

if you are sick (thats why you are in the line) with flu or corona, you are already sick.

Who talks about standing in a line? In South Korea they set up mobile temporary testing camps outside of the workplace where they suspect someone's infected and follow them up and everyone they've been in contact with intensely. A big reason why they are so effective in containing it and didn't have to shut down the whole country despite having a 'super spreader' - lots of testing.
In my book that's great for their economy and more than worth it.

The asian countries take it way more serious than the rest of the world and profit from it.

Ebola is too deadly that it hampers its ability to spread, somebody who is in a lab working on a bioweapon would know this and create one which spreads much faster than it kills.
