Sup fellas,

Ok now i'm getting a little worried. Since a week ago, maybe a little less I've stopped having morning erections. I'm not sure what is going on and my **** has felt 'wierd', I don't knw how to describe it... just like a lack of blood flow i guess ?? My sex drive is down as well... and just fewer erections throughout the day, it just sits there... its definitely different for me and well its not returning to normal...

I can masturbate and the erection is OK (not great) haven't had sex with the lady since i'm back at home now, so I dunno about that. What is going on ??

This just came out of nowhere and I've been trying to think about anything I've been doing differently or whatever and I can't think of anything ?? I remember I stopped masturbating for about 5 days and thats when they stopped, like my **** just said 'fvck you' and turned off... Also I started taking a multi-vitamin around the time it stopped, eventho I think it stopped a little before I started taking them...

I've stopped taking them now as i'm trying to isolate the problem...

Is this normal ?? I didn't hit my **** or anything like that... this just completely came out of nowhere. I'm getting the same if not more rest than I usually do, I'm eating healthier and working out... wat is going on ??

Anyone ever experienced anything like this ?? Is it normal ?? Serious ??

I know you guys aren't doc's and when I get back to the city if it hasn't returned to normal i'm going to see one, but just your thoughts and if you have heard of anything like this before... tks

are you spending less time around women? Because the less that sex is on your mind, the less erections you will be having. Think of it this way:

if you went to a club last night, made out with 3 girls, and got #s from all of them, AND you set up a date for today with the hottest one, you will damn sure wake up with an erection because your thoughts have been sexualized due to what you did last night. If you haven't had a date or kissed a girl for a while, your sexual mind feels "empty" and you basically have nothing to think of that would turn you on.

On another note, porn addict losers get turned on thinking about their porn collection, so I am not assuming you're one of those

I tried jeqling about a year ago, after a month I noticed after one intense session I had weak hard-ons. So I quit and about two weeks later it was back to full staff.

So I will say, leave your dink alone (only use it for pissing and banging) and I'm sure he'll be ready for combat when the time comes.

Not having the morning wood is not the end of the world. I use to drink considerably more than I do now and for about 10 years I never had the morning wood. I functioned fine sexually, I just thought I outgrew it (last had it as a teenager).

But then this past year, I really cut down on my alcohol intake and boom guess what came back. The morning wood. I find it annoying now actually. I liked it better when I didn't wake up to it, sometimes it so hard it hurts.

As for it not being as hard as it use to be, your drive might be lowering slightly. That doesn't mean the end of the world. As long as you still have drive and want to hit it sometimes. We don't need to get laid 3 times a day every day.

I find that sometimes if I know I'm not going to see my g/f for a longer stretch than usual, I try to fit in more. When that happens, I find the quality goes down for me, it isn't totally hard but mentally I want to do it again cuz I know I'm not gonna get it for another five days.

Sometimes we have to accept that we are not 16 anymore full of p1ss and vinagre. That doesn't mean we still can't enjoy it, it then becomes about quality over quality. When I was a teen, I didn't care where I got it from as long as I got some. Now that I've grown up, I prefer to be more selective.

^ ^ I'm not 30 tho, i'm 22 and it was working fine 2 weeks ago...

There must be a reason why they've all of a sudden disappeared. It just feels like its shut-off, i really can't explain the feeling. Anyone else ??

I guess I should stop worrying about it as well, that always complicates things

Elevated prolactin can lower your libido. Mention a possible prolactin and testosterone level test, if and when you see the doc. Also, Emperiorjack is correct that SSRI's can ruin your libido.

We all go through cycles, thats perfectly natural. I would suggest that you distract yourself. Remove the porn / things that normally would make you masterbate. That way when you are with a women, its been a while since you've been stimulated and you should be a little more excited.

Other than that, your right, stressing out over it only contributes to the problem. The key is understanding and acceptance that our bodies change. I'm not suggesting that your drive is dropping all of a sudden but acceptance of the fact that it will fluctuate from week to week.

^ ^ I'm not on any type of medication or doing anything out of my normal...

I drink less than my usual amounts, only once a week (wknds) and have generally been healthy. I mean I guess I need to keep perspective, its only been acting up the past week, could just be a fluke...

I just read that morning erections aren't supposed to happen every morning and they can disappear for weeks and months at a time for perfectly normal and healthy reasons. I feel relieved that my guy is just in a 'mood' haha

Morning erections can happen before you wake up. I don't always wake up with them, but many times I will wake up earlier than normal and have them then. Sometimes a doc may use a test called the "nocturnal penile tumescence test", which as far as I know is a band that goes on your penis while your sleep, and measures rigidity of nocturnal/morning erections.

When I go crazy on eggs and beef (12-24 whole eggs a day for example) I will consistently have morning wood and have never had a problem getting it up. But maybe that's just me. :D I do think diet plays a part as does sleep.

My girl usually likes to fool around with me and suck me off or ride me while i'm sleeping or just waking up and its a nice feeling, lately that hasn't been happening and i can tell she's disappointed and that brought it to my attention... think i just shocked my body 'mentally'

I have read that eggs and meats contain L-Arginine, which aids greatly in the erection department.

I think the biggest thing is age. I know you aren't old 22. But, I am 21 and I can tell a big difference in myself in the morning wood dept. then when I was 15, 16, 17, or even 18. For example, when i was about 15, 16 and 17, I would get wood about 5 or 6 times a day over just seeing a hot girl. Now, it doesn't happen everyday and not as often. Horomones are not raging like an adolecent anymore. With that said, I have no problem getting it up when it's needed to.

What do you mean by that? You know that physiologically a male's sexual prime is in his teens, right? (libido and ease of getting erections)

I myself am having a bit of a problem in this sense. I'm sure it's mental since I can get it up, it just takes more direct physical stimulation these days and I almost never get a boner just at the sight of a girl. Crap like l-argenine don't seem to help.

How many milligrams have you tried? I think you need 4k-5k mg a day or something like that. Plus, you need to take it for a while before it starts to take effect. I have read that it works for some people, but not for others.
