Why would anyone use email??

I dont understand why so many of the people that are against using text messages and facebook with girls are for using email... what difference do you see?

honestly i see email as outdated... i use my school email for just that...school. to email teachers, get assignments from other students, but not to communicate with girls. i have a regular email that i created several years ago but rarely use it...thats how most of the people i know are.

i know absolutely no one that communicates with women via email...if one of my friends said "yea...i met this totally hot chick today...i got her email" i would think he was a ****ing weirdo.

maybe this is an age thing...it seems older generations (maybe 30 and up) still see email as new and useful technology, but i am only 20...anything i could want to use email for socially i could do much more easily on facebook and get a much quicker response.


anyone else notice that facebook and text haters often endorse email use...whats up with that??


oh wait...there is one female i still exhange emails with...my grandma.

Some girls don't feel comfortable giving out the number on a cold approach so they give out the email if they find you interesting enough. Its up to you to take it from there.

I don't use email for social reasons anymore. Between social networking sites and smart phones(although email is accessible through smart phones) , there's really no need because you can stay connected on so many other levels.

I do use email HEAVILY for work however. Clients and co workers all work on the email level. In fact, yesterday I met an attractive girl at a pool party. I wasn't really paying that much attention to her but while talking to one of her friends, I found out she worked at one of my sister properties. Though hot and I did enjoy talking with her, I was more interested in establishing a working relationship with her so I asked for her email. I think on that level the distinction in functional accessibility exist. When I got around to asking her about further contact, she knew right away when i asked for her email that I was interested in business and not pleasure or at least that's my take.

see...same thing here. if some girl offered me her email, i would think she was a weirdo as well. ive never had that happen to me or even heard about it..
