I was reading this months Maxim..and there was a tip in there about "How to get a girl from breaking up with you"

The Answer: Break down and have an emotional break through..tell her how you finally "see" all the things she has been talking about..even if you dont know what you did wrong..just repeat everything she says.

Psychologists say..emotional breakdowns..to women..are a sign of commitment.

WHile I dont agree a guy should EVER breakdown emotionally in front of a girl, you can probably see why AFC/emotional guys who pour out their true feelings and love to a girl..tend to scare them off.

Basically you are saying I WILL stay committed to you! I have no one else in my life and you are the supreme goddess in my life.

Does that sound like much of a challenge? even the thought of a guy like this wanting to commit to them..drives them away..because they are spineless , emotional pansies..

just a thought

Well, maybe when you get into a relationship that goes on for years, you may see how the article has some validity.

What the article should really say is "If you LET yourself have an emotional breakdown, it MAY not scare her away as you may think." Or something like that.

But if you are in a relationship where your balls are in a vice grip, then you should get OUT, because if you NEED to have an emotional breakdown to get back in...you don't wanna get back in.

Yuck! If a man had an emotional breakdown on me I would want to run.. I am the one that's suppose to breakdown, cry and pout when I don't get my way:) JK.. But I don't think that's the case. I think women more so want a rock, a man with balls, that they can go to, a man to protect them, a man to look up to, a man that is sexy, secure and loaded:) That last thing was a joke!

But I don't agree with that article. I would like to read it. Is there some link to it.. What issue.. I think the title should have said

"Want an Easy Way Out, How to Get Your GF to Dump YOU" Have an emotional breakdown, cry and hold her and talk about the relationship all night long...

Yuck!

Us men should'nt have an "emotional breakdown" to save a relationship, no matter how long term it was. I would suggest re-evaluating the relationship and try to talk through it, and hey, if it doesn't workout then Next the girl.
The only time I would say that an emotional breakdown might be okay was if your marriage was in trouble, and still, I don't think its a good move.

its a little comic blurb in June, pg 64 Maxim.

Im sure they might have it online.

I dont think a man should EVER have an emotional breakdown..if you do , you are at the mercy of your woman.

Ive had women tell me you are emotionless..why dont you ever open up to me?

and Ive had women say Im too emotional (because I may have acting like that while drunk or high)

anyhow..when I was emotionless..the girls were intrigued and trying to get me to change..

When I was emotional..the girls got turned off..and wanted little interaction with me..because I made them feel guilty.

I remember before I found this site I would look at Maxim. I went with a friend to the lady he is seeing's apartment (she was roommates with a couple of cute ladies). In any case she had a magazine shelved with Maxim and Cosmopolitian. She caught me reading one of the Maxim's and said that better research was in Cosmo. Fortunately I had found this site and even the forum itself beats the pants off of both mags combined.

if you think thats cause for concern I should also mention she is getting a degree in psychology come this summer. .. For a man not versed in the "Bible", such as my friend, life will get very intresting...

Ive got 2 degrees in Psych..and working on a PhD..

any smart girl knows that cosmo is just a catalogue of air brush Jokes..that feeds the beauty industry by forcing girls to buy makeup , clothes, exercise machines, pills, everything

and get depressed when she never attains the image
