I think that's a pretty good point actually. You might have something there.

Women are overpriced because of the desperate males who want love and companionship, and the growing number of desperate males doesn't help. Women have lots of options, even the old & the ugly. Pu$$y is highly valued and women know a man wants it.

If you're saying that it's a bad thing to want love and companionship in and of itself, I disagree.

If you were referring to guys that just want any woman with a p**** to give them the time of day...and feel their life is incomplete without a significant other...then I agree.

I'm not a hookup guy...but I know what I want in an LTR looks and personality wise and will not settle for less...would rather be single...and can live perfectly happy single.

But there are guys that just want sex or companionship or both at any cost...and like you said, will settle for the first woman that gives him attention and makes it easy for him in and out of bed.

I remember an old friend of mine bragging about his (at the time) new girlfriend who to the majority would be an UG3-4. He'd be like "Oh I'm busy hanging out with my girl" and always have these corny updates on myspace and facebook.

But when you look at it, could a guy like him really do any better? He's a 5 in looks...redhead, freckles, brainy looking...not ugly, but not what 99 percent of women want. And on top of it, he probably has the mindset that his ideal type of woman is too hard to pull.

Another guy I know is more like a 3 or 4...but he has a really lucrative job...and he's shacked up with a 30 year old with a kid that isn't his. He admits he's miserable (with the boring job and typical life) but brags about the sex.

The funny thing is, she dumped him, and he was depressed as hell even though he didn't like her that much...and he begged her to take him back...then they moved in together.

So what I'm getting at is...guys like that, while they are taking the first thing that jumps at them, do they really have a choice other than being single (which to me would be the better option)?

Here again, no matter how hard a man tries to hide it, he wants love and companionship, and having it is always good. I see a lot of guys who feel incomplete because their life has no women or lack thereof. It's always good to have options, and most men do not have that luxury, which is why they jump on the first girl that shows interest. And they don't get that often, so they get a big ego boost.

I must admit there's an element of luck in the dating game. There have been ugly, broke guys who've gotten dates with models and hb10's or whatever you wanna call 'em. But it's just luck. Those elite, high status men get this success consistently, obviously.

Not everyone wants a super hot hipster girl or a model though. And some guys like having a girlfriend that's their type...but don't need one and are perfectly happy single.

The problem is when guys bend over backwards to get a woman (that they don't even like that much) or keep her happy.
