Why the hostility at Sosuave?

I joined this site 2 days ago.:cheer:

I did not know this site existed, and even if I did I would not have looked over it as it is primarily for men and I am female.

Due to some of your patrons planning an attack on a site that I do frequent (Loveshack) my attention was brought to a particular thread over here and to be honest I like the banter you guys have here and I thought the planned 'attack' was quite hilarious.

Now I love it at Loveshack as I have got to know quite a few lovely people (Touche being one of them) But I do agree that it is over moderated and you really cannot break one small rule without being penalised. I like the fact that the mods here are not like Hitler and I really like the attitude of SOME of you.

Some of you have welcomed me and been very kind indeed BUT on the other hand some of you have been obnoxious and downright rude! :cuss:

I have been called many names in the few jokey post's I have made, including a troll, an attention seeker, a transexual and even a venereal disease!!! This is so not cool and if I had a weak disposition I would have deleted my account and ran back to Loveshack

Instead I will stay here for a while and ignore the rude bastards!

Thank you to everyone who have been warm and welcoming and to the other rude buggers, when you see me post a thread just jog on and read someone else's! :moon:

First off, I am going to formally welcome you to SS. This is not a totalitarian regime here, in that you are correct. You are free to express your opinions. Having said that, you must undertstand that this site is filled with alpha males or wannabe alpha males. Most men on here have very strong opinions, and express those opinions in a very straight forward manner. This is one of the reasons I like SS. You'll get straight answers here, regardless of political correctness.

Many of our views are shaped by the values inside the origianl DJ Bible and Brother KillaPeteHog's new revised edition. Understand that this is the framework within which we work here at SS.

Also understand that there are many Men here with whom I do not agree, and laugh at their posts because of their highly ridiculous nature. Some are serious, some are tongue in cheek. I can see what the principles of this site are but do you not think that a womans perspective could be helpful? are all women treated in the manner that I was by likes of YOU?
