Why so much talk of Brad Pitt???

Why is there so much talk of Brad Pitt on this forum??? It's like some of these DJ's feel the need to compare himself to this guy. Sure, he is a goodlooking guy, but it seems like many people think that the real Brad Pitt is the guy in Fight Club or Troy any of these movies he acts acts in.

I just think that trying to take your game (looks and personality) to the next level can be done without striving to be "Brad Pitt" Is it because many women believe he is gorgeous? He is a celebrity, women are going to fall all over him. This is not a knock on him, but some of the guys on this board need to realize that they are comparing themselves to the characters he portrays in movies; or his "media" character.

This site has some great tips and interesting topics but if I see a "Brad Pitt is a bad boy" type post again, I am going to insane. Some of you guys have to better yourself without comparing yourself to a movie character!!!

in my opinion, Brad Pitt is HEAVILY overrated. His looks, i mean. As an actor, he is absolutely first rate (Fight Club, Snatch, etc.)

hes the girl every other girl wants. hes probably got the BEST social proof in th world, seriously. furthermore, it all stems from confidence, you can tell by the way he acts, by the way he looks when poeple take pictures of him, hes confident. not to mention hes a sweetheart, or so i hear from girls that read about him in girly magazines.

It all depends how you look at the situation...

I agree with you for those that compare themselves to Brad Pitt, or any other character from any movie to relate that to their success or lack thereof. (ie : If I could be more like Brad Pitt, then my problems would be over.)

I think that looking at these actors and their parts, and to pull out the traits that would be beneficial to yourself is a useful lexercise. (ie: How can I develop the charisma that Vince Vaughn has in the movie swingers, so that I can improve my success?)

One will give you a useless envy of the other person, the other will offer useful answers as to how to improve.

I tried to adopt some of Brad Pitt's traits, I studied Ocean's 11 & 12, also Troy. Let's just say I have my hands FULL because of it, no I do not believe I'm Brad Pitt, but I do however, see him as teacher, a very good teacher if I may add.

Everybody needs role models in life be it characters or real people. The characters Brad Pitt plays just happen to convey one of the many attitudes a DJ could have. That’s why Brad is mentioned so much in these forums. Personally I have adapted some traits he had in Fight Club so essentially Im not comparing my self to Brad im comparing my self to Tyler.
