I didn't ever like salesman & disliked pua life because of that - because it's all so much manipulative bs (and it is).

But the thing is, we all want to be sold. We all want to be manipulated. we all want the bs (the fantasy)... nobody is interested in the boring, prosaic, and frequently ugly reality.

You think it is BS, but it really is only BS if all you do is sit at your comp, and then go out looking for girls. The truth is, if you have an interesting life, in which interesting things happen and you have lots of good stories to tell about it that will engage a crowd. You will not have to worry about it being BS, you can use opinion openers about real things in your life, will definatly help you to be more involved in the convo. Think about it.

all of life is a head game.

there was an interesting scientific study recently about how most people consider themselves ABOVE AVERAGE in almost everything (looks, work performance, intelligence, etc).

but just by the DEFINITION of AVERAGE, that can't possibly be true.

what that study shows: most people have protective delusions about themselves. and the whole pua mentality is to AMPLIFY those delusions to achieve a self confidence that is of utility in picking up women.

but as i said, we all CRAVE delusion. we don't want the ugly prosaic truth. we don't want to know that we're average. we don't want to know that the sex in pornography is really really artificial, we don't want to know the extents with which that cover girl is contorting to look just like that or the army of make up artists and lighting technicians it took to get that shot.

my point is - under the surface, under the veneer of poetry with which we MUST view life - it can be pretty dull and ugly.

my point is - we WANT the fantasy. and smart guys need to understand this. that women want the bs just as much as the guys (just a different kind).

my point is - we WANT to be sold. and my point is, that's why i don't hate salesmen as much as i used to.
