Why for the love of god do young people let themselves get fat!

The media is defintely right, there is an obesity problem in this country. It is not good to be fat at any age. it is 10X worse IMHO to be fat when you are between 20 and 35, especially if you are single.

I CRINGE everytime I see it because these people DO IT TO THEMSELVES.

Why do they let this happen to themselves? Don't they want an attractive partner?

Genetics do play a role, but lifestyle is 10X more influential on whether one become fat.

Most unattractive women (and men) you see out in public are more than likely unattractive because they are overweight and not due to unattractive facial features. If gives you a double chin, gives you chubby cheeks and makes your face look more round (oval is the ideal shape).

I have also noticed if you take a girl/woman whose facial features lean more towards the average, but she is PHYSICALLY FIT!, has clear skin and shiny hair, you have yourself a HB 6 or HB 7.

This explains why when I was in New York City last month, the % of attractive women seemed so much higher than the suburbs. Why? Cosmetic Surgery? Maybe in a few cases, but mostly due to the fact these people
EXERCISE!!

Yeah, it really is sad. Mostly I think our artificial society just has a problem with exercise. People think that they are profiting by obtaining an "easy" office job instead of physical labor, but they don't take into account the fact that physical labor will produce health benefits. Of course, most office jobs still ARE better than manual jobs, but if you have an inactive office job, you must make sure to go for walks/runs or hit the gym to compensate for your inactivity.

Also, a lot of people eat to deal with stress, which is bad. If you mainly eat just when your hungry, stop eating when you stop being hungry, don't use food to deal with stress or depression, and exercise periodically, you will be in pretty decent shape. This natural-based lifestyle is called "intuitive eating."

I personally eat all kinds of junk, but I don't try to use food to deal with stress or sadness. Moreover, I try to do some crunches every day and go to the gym about twice a week, and I think I'm in pretty reasonable shape.

It seems the only thing anyone has time for anymore is flipping hamburgers and eating them, too. You can't work in a noble profession these days and "make it" according to the media and society at large. For a long time now the young people have been moving away from the country and into the bigger cities, leaving behind the crops and the fields for the skyscrapers and "high society" off in the distance. They follow the promise of reward and 'education' while trading their interdependence for corporate slavery and assimilation into the herd of human warehousing by means of apartment complexes and government housing in the process. They are working in dead end jobs with no purpose and no future for the greater good of humanity. They kill themselves by paying illegal taxes to a corrupt system of stagnant bureaucracy. They never achieve the dreams that were promised them, instead they die like dogs and pass this "life" on to their children who accept it without a single question toward their "leadership". And so it goes... here we are.

You think that everyone becoming fat and lazy is the problem... this is only a mere side effect.

Oddly enough one thing I've seen is that most poor people are fat. Ever wonder about that? I've heard that because of their limited resources they can't afford good quality food so they end up spending most of their money on McDonald's and Taco Bell etc.

A complete lack of exercise doesn't help.

That's bull****, you could get much healthier and cheaper food at a grocery store than at McDonalds.

A complete lack of exercise is the problem. No matter how little you eat, if you don't get any exercise at all, you're going to be at least somewhat overweight (some people are exceptions, but not many). A lot of people stress out over diets and trying to starve themselves when they would be drastically happier if they just starting jogging a few times a week. Human beings aren't meant to be sedentary. We're meant to get out into the world and accomplish things.

stupid b1tches from high school who were all "popular" become all pudgy once they become a freshman in college with a semi-beer-belly, either from drinking too damn much or because they're wh0res with a baby in their belly.

who cares though, right? they're popular!

The same reason people grow up to be hard charging type A personality assh0les with a chip on their shoulder.

Genetics my friends.

The great thing is both fat people and type A people can overcome the unhealthy aspects of their genetic flaws through the power of the mind either through self help, professional therapy or a good friend helping them to make a change for the better and get them started.

Both types though just need a willingness to change usually through seeing how their genetic flaws have negatively impacted their life or others or both.
 

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

Has it ever occurred to you that some people just don't care?

Im fat and gross, dont bother to exercise or watch my diet or even hide my gut. Pills i'm taking have decreased my libido and I prefer hookers anyway, so there is no motivation at all to exercise.

There are people who would prefer to live how they please and die early than be healthy and live a long but strained life. You can make a GREAT case for the strategy of consuming happy drugs until you go bankrupt and purposely OD in a euphoric state.

I got hefty during college. Beer and Pizza with no exercise. I got my arse into the gym, and sorted it out. I used to weigh over 230lbs at 5'8. Over 35% bodyfat, at the young age of 23!. I dropped right down to 175lbs, packed on muscle to 210lbs over the last 2 years, and I am busy ripping it down to 190lbs or so. I went from a fat tub of lard to a brick ****house within 4 years. Still carrying a bit of fat, but Im almost down to 15% now.

I cannot explain the difference its made to my life. Attention from women aside, (I am shocked to see how many women will accept a bit of fat on you when you are carrying a lot of muscle. With a six pack, I might become a gigalo). I feel better. I am selling more for some reason. I am more confident. Sports have improved. Sex has improved.

To be honest, and I hate it with reformed smokers who complain about smokers, but I cannot stand fatties. Those with hormonal and medical problems aside, the majority are lazy. Its not easy to lose weight, but its not hard either. Simple lifestyle changes a little bit of discipline is all it takes. I have a very slow metabolism, and pack on fat just by looking at food. If I could do it, with my bodytype and metabolism, I dont see why other peopel struggle so much.

I see it all the time. People complaining they cant lose weight, while downing a beer and eating a ton of pretzels. My fave excuse are the chaps who say they dont want to go to gym because they think bodybuilders look disgusting.

I agree with this too.

Live and let live in my opinion is the best policy.
