Are you warming up? Are your kness following your toes when you go down? Do you stretch post workout? And you lifting with the glutes and legs and not with the groin and lower back?

I'd say too much weight and not warming up. If you're not breathing correctly that would affect the stress on your abdomen as well.

Try going a little lighter, inhale on the way down and then exhale on the way back up, then take a second or two between reps and don't lock your knees.

Stretching quads, hams, grion (doing splits type of stretching) inbetween your warmup sets really helps your flexibility and form on squats.

some people have different views on that. I need to do dynamic leg swings before squats. And I have read an article on T-nation about the benefits of static stretching before weights. Whatever works best for you.

Dont come up with some bull**** answer. I squat the same aount of weight with better form and less pain, so yes, please do explain. What ... research showed that you're muscles are fiering 16.23% slower on the first rep or something? Basicly loosening up the muscles is only good. Im not talking about a 15 minute extreme stretch session. A brief ten second hold is enough.

You should absolutely do a light warmup and stretch before doing anything with any significant weight. Your joints need to be lubricated and warm so you don't rip/break a tendon or a joint.

Don't do fvcking gymnastics before squats though  .

I don't know about stretching helping performance, but doing so beforehand does not decrease chance of injury. Warming up does. Actually you're not even supposed to stretch a cold muscle.

Karmic Law #4: I do all those things to women and i get them all the time. If anything it plays into my hands because it sets up a precedent of me taking my sweet ass time replying back to them. What the heck? Who courts women anyway? And what's the deal with everyone having laws now?

Karmasutra ?? aren't you the guy trying to lose weight by eating 3 cheeseburgers a day. Do the research, stretching before ANY heavy lifting increases chances of injury.

thats why warm up...or the same range range of motion with lighter weight.

Stretching after heavy lifting is recommended, good luck karmasutra you fat bastard.

No you don't. But it's funny to have guys try to be contrary for spite. I use the term courting rather than dating because it has no conotation of expectation.

Regarding my Laws, I set precedent rather than follow the herd. These are thoughts and paradigms which I follow and have led to my success. If you like them great, if not go about your business and go another way. I could give a fvck less.

I'll say that there are vastly more brothers who inquire about following The Laws rather than get their panties in a wad or try and flex a muscle.
