I agree with the feminists on this one. Rape is a selfish criminal ACT born of anger and a desire to physically control the victim. Sex is a barometer of interest level and relationship health. Somebody following the DJ lifestyle shouldn't have any problems.

Ok and say you get divorced. Doesn't that mean that she can say she regrets having sex with you which is rape? And because you two have kids she can use that as evidence of you being a rapist.

I understand that you're interested in furthering a men's rights agenda. And you're young. There's a reason the cliche of angry young man exists.

I don't have any issues with men's rights. However IMO we have to be careful in this community to never condone rape.

We develop ourselves and learn the skills we do here to have better relationships with women.

Now in reference to your original post the state laws section actually says that for a charge of marital rape to be upheld violence or the threat of violence hasto be proven.

So if you are married under those state laws you are less likely to be convicted of rape.

I was just wondering about it because that concept just seemed absurd to me, not because I'm 'angry' about women and trying to promote men's rights or something. I never really knew that something like this existed so it just kinda blew my mind. I guess it can work in our favor if the wife gets fat and ugly cuz then we wouldn't want to have sex with her anymore.

Just remember rape is about violence not sex. A guy has the option of visiting a prostitute any time he likes.

because it's still technically possible to rape your spouse even if it's rare and illogical (if the guy was psycho enough to rape her, how did they get married? if she never wants to have sex to the point that you're frustrated enough to rape her, why not get a divorce? better yet, why did you marry her at all? or why not just cheat on her?)

if the guy was psycho enough to rape her, how did they get married?

Psychos of either gender can seem totally normal for extended periods of time. Either because they're acting or they are actually trying to get better, but it only takes one stressful life event, or one drink, or whatever, to restart the spiral into mental illness and become abusive again.

but I mean, you should be with someone for at least a year or two before proposing and then it'll take like a year to fully plan the wedding and send invites n ****, so they'd basically have to be completely normal for 2-3 years and suddenly go crazy
