That part I put in my profile is intended to weed out men over 45, married men, men with girlfriends and players...

So I wouldn't expect most men on here to want to respond to it...that was the whole point of me changing it.

Wyldfire was probably a cute chick with a good little figure. She had the big knockers, etc. Of course, she found it easy to find men when she was in her prime, early 20's. Then as she got into her 30's, she had the good fortune of having few younger women to compete for men her age (i.e., the Baby Bust), so even with a kid or two, she was still getting attention from men near her age.

The problem is that her positive demographic situation is deteriorating quickly. The men that seemed to give her serious attention years ago are now noticing younger, more attractive, less baggage laden women that are available. Reality just hasn't caught up with her yet. And it is a shame, because she still could match up with that nice, bald and paunchy 50's guy now. He is going to find a woman similar to Wyldfire's situation. And Wyldfire will only get chunkier and more bitter.
Actually, I was married at 18 until I was 28. I wasn't out dating in my 20's. Three months after leaving my ex I met my fiance, who I was with for 5 years. I never even entered the dating world until I was 33-34. As soon as my ex husband began drinking excessively and beating me I quit making any effort at all to look good for him. I never blossomed as a woman until I left him. So yes, I look much better NOW then I did when I was 18 years old.

Again...I'm not bitter at all. I'm a very happy person. I've remained about the same size for the past 11 years with only minor fluctuation.

Some how, I have a hard time hearing women over 50 being called chicks. It just doesn't sound right.

As far as my tastes in women I'm 42 and the oldest girl I've ever dated is the 34 year old I'm with now.

Under most circumstances, someone like Wyldfire is too old for me and with too much baggage. Although, I don't totally rule out dating females with children the one girl I dated with a child was a pain. The child would get angry and jealous anytime I would spend anytime alone with her mother.

An as we all know younger women in general are far more attractive than older women. My girlfriend is a yoga instructor so her body could pass for a girl in her early 20's

I think Wyldfire is just bragging. Bravo, somebody on a dating site messaged you. Deal with it.

Getting back to the original thread, Wyldfire is angry because older guys (outside of her age range) are replying to her personal ad. My question is, so what?

Women do the same thing. Men get replies from women outside their age range too. Heck, a guy will put down "slim/slender" and then probably get a few replies from fat chicks.

Wyldfire, why do you take this personally? If you really are confident in yourself, why do you care?

I've gotten personal replies from women that were CLEARLY outside my specified criteria. I just delete them. If the women are WAY older than me, I don't let it bother me.

I get a couple of those each month. I don't know what it is, I say that I'm attracted to slim/athletic women and I get pictures of women professing they are athletic just because they look like a linebacker.

I was just a bit frustrated when I posted that...and it wasn't even really about the guy who wrote to me. I just started a new job a few towns away and my car broke down (serious break down) and I can't get to work and am having to call in. Third shift, can't find anyone in my area heading that way too and a cab is $30 one way.

You say you aren't looking to date, so what's the big deal on how old the guy is?

lol...I've gotten mail from a guy who looked to weight about 400lbs or more who had himself listed as "a few extra pounds". I snickered and said to myself, "a few HUNDRED maybe".

I don't claim to be perfect, but if I say that I don't want to hear from married men, men just after casual sex or men over 45 it would be really nice if they would not waste my time. Women get a lot of mail on those sites if they are attractive, and it's really a pain in the rear to weed through all the ones who ignore what you say in your profile. I'm just really glad I'm not really looking to meet anyone, because if I get really tired of weeding through stuff I can just stop reading any of the mail altogether.

See the post above this one of yours...

It was never really about the guy. It just annoyed me more than it would have because of my car breaking down and the stress from missing work and being worried about losing my new job.

Interesting...If it wasn't about the guy, then why the "Why do much, much older men on dating sites think that when a woman says they aren't interested in dating men over a certain age that it doesn't apply to them?" thread? Why not a "My life sucks, my car broke down, and I just moved...End of rant" thread?

Because I was annoyed by the 54 year old guy who wrote to me when my profile said I ddin't want to meet anyone over 45. Normally I wouldn't have been so annoyed by that, but due to the car being broken down and not being able to get to the new job I REALLY want to keep, it bothered me more.

My life doesn't suck at all...I actually really AM a very positive person. I'm just temporarily in a sh*tty situation...but it will pass. I might be buying a brand new car instead of the disposable ones like I normally buy...so it might just turn out to be a great thing in the end.

Funny thing is...I would have let this die fairly quickly had Ulrick not made it his mission to try to portray me as something I'm not just because I don't want to date men more than 6 years older than myself, married men or men just looking for ass.

Give it up, Wyldfire is enjoying all of this attention she's getting.

Be more productive in other parts of your life such as your body, your career, and your girls.

And the truth is for Wyldfire and others, that women no matter what age they are (unless they're senior citizens) can pull in men anytime and anywhere as long as they are desperate guys who want sex.

That makes women the true pigs of society.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
LOL how did this thread ever make it to eight pages? And why was it never moved to like, "Anything Else"??

Wyldfyre, let me solve the mystery for you. Those 50-year-old, 400 lb dudes send you messages because they want to get laid and have nothing to lose by asking. It's really that simple and there's nothing more that needs to be said.

Seriously, what do they lose by asking and getting deleted?? It's not like sending girls messages on dating sites is a big investment of time. I used to send out 20 messages a day to chicks on MySpace. :p So don't feel so special or like they're singling YOU out.

And what do you do about those guys?? The same thing I do when I get messages from 300-lb whalers...exercise my DELETE key.

End of post. Nothing more to be said.

And men with heads on their shoulders who avoid women with condescending profiles that scream "avoid me; i think i'm the sh1t."

p.s. i'm not a player. LTRs all the way.

I met a girl online once that put down "athletic" as her body type. Her pictures even hinted at this. In person, the only way she was athletic was if she was a linebacker :(

I am 38 and I would never date this woman.

39 years old, with four kids! And somehow she thinks she is a prize catch.

The only reason younger guys hit on you is because they want to bang you. That is all. Heck, many of these guys hit on anything that moves.

You should consider yourself lucky that a 54 year old guy is interested in you. You are the least desirable demographic out there. WOman over 30, nearly 40. Kids. Failed marriage. Yeah, you are a real catch! LOL!

You are a joke.

Again, I shared one very small part of the profile. In another part of it I explained WHY I wrote what I did. I'm STILL getting mail, but not from the ones I don't want to get mail from.

My attitude isn't condascending at all...nor is that little paragraph. It's sarcastic.

Good...I added that piece to my profile to weed out older men, married men and men who are only looking for sex.

I have no interest in having any more children, or ever getting married again...so any guy looking for marriage and kids...I am NOT interested in.

Men who have a problem with a woman having children...UNDATEABLE.

What I find hilarious is that every one of the guys who are on here pitching a fit about me having standards seem to think they are a real "catch" themselves. Not to me, they aren't. I don't want marriage, don't want more kids, don't want a player. I'd much rather date a younger divorced man who also has children or a man who doesn't want to get married or have kids.

And as for the guys in their mid to late 30's who haven't been married and expect to find a much younger woman without children...good luck, lol.
The standards you guys on here have are far more limiting than mine, and when you figure in all the feminists, young single mothers, unattractive women and women who refuse to cook, clean, have sex and treat men like crap it makes your dating pool a hell of a lot more shallow than mine. The funny thing is...if you do find a young woman to marry and have kids with, you'll be lucky if your marriage lasts even 5 years. And after that younger wife makes off with the car, house, kids and all your money you'll be going after women like me...who younger men without the "baggage" you'll have are also going after. Who do you think the woman in her 30's will prefer? The men her age and older who thought they were too good for women their own age before or the young, hot, buff guys who are more fun in bed? The choice is pretty easy...

You are Pathetic

Its insane that guys have to put up with women like this in their younger years. Soceity has taught most women (even fatties, and uglies) that they have a 24 karat gold super p*ssy. Men put up with that sh*t when their younger, but when they get older they realize that they don't have too.

These women chase, screw and have babies by bad boys and then when they get old and thier snatch is all worn out, they want the nice, caring, charming nice guy.

But this broad(wyldfire) who also happens to be a liar; insists that brad pit, and george clooney aren't even good enough for her! Trust me honey, brad pit wouldn't even waste his time sh*ting on you!

but, I'd bet you a million to one though that she'd screw charles Mansion's brains out. That is your type, right????

Isnt that what you like honey? Some bad boy who will dog you out? The only problem is that you are old and worn out, now even bad boys don't want you. You made your bad now lye in it!

American women are insane, dellusional, pyhscotic, liars!!!

Your right you don't look your age. You look like your at least 45, and a not so attractive 45 year old at that!

What idiot would even flirt withyou knowing that you have 4 children. Its old women like you that turn men into *******s.

Oh, yea, one more thing....

Give up the antifeminist act; all women that live in westernized societies are feminists.
