Why do men like thinner girls than fat ones?

Is evoluton behind this? Maybe thinner girls, because they were not fat in ancient times were seen as more viable to sustain the human race?

Fashion and taste for women changes throughout the years. Back then, slightly larger women were considered beautiful and attractive. Hence, those paintings of those massive women. It was considered a sign of beauty.

Not too long ago, Marilyn Monroe was considered the most sexiest woman alive. If you look at her body frame and compare it to the "hottest woman" for the past 20 years. Well, there's just no comparison.

I don't think "taste for women" has changed throughout the years, it's just these people in New York or Hollywood are run by a bunch of gay people and trying to figure out who to cast for the next movie/set.

Marilyn Monroe trumps Kate Moss any day of the week. I like voluptuous women with big boobs and as long as she's not fat I'm fine. I don't care so much about the butt. However when there's a skinny girl who takes care of herself and is thin and shapely that's awesome too.

I think tastes vary from generation to generation as far as weight, but one thing remains a constaint, and that's the right hip to waist ratio. A woman can be large or small, but if she has that .7 hip to waist ratio, I'll think she's sexy as hell.

This thread actually makes me think about a causal friend of mine who is engaged to a fat chick.

When a guy marries a fat girl, does that mean he doesnt think that highly of himself in terms of being able to land a normal weight girl?

This guy is not fat be he's kind of dorky although he dresses well. He just has a choir boy innocent image about him.

I don't know, I just want to know what goes through somebodys head when they decide they want to marry an obese chick because
I would have to be single for a loooooooooooooooooong time before I start looking in that direction

I pretty much only go for chubby chicks, with big-arsed t1ts. Not messy fatasses, but there needs to be some meat. My best friend is a girl, and despite her being what would normally pass as hot, I have zero desire to hit it because she's thin. I dunno.

I hate it when girls get too skinny. Take Christina Ricci for example. I thought she was a 10 in Buffalo '66, but Vincent Gallo treated her like sh1t and made fun of her weight, and she started loosing it. Now look at her. Yuk! Thora Birch too.
