Why do I feel this way about my gf? It cant be normal

Hey men of sosuave, I usually dont come here asking for advice but this has been bothering me for a while now so ill cut straight to the chase.

Why is it that every time I have sex with my girlfriend, the time immediately following the sex I have a strong urge to break up with her, or at least a feeling of distance from her. This feeling can last from an hour to a couple of days.

Shes about 5 feet away as a write this thread, sleeping like a baby in my bed. It makes me sad having to ask but why do I feel this way? Is this normal for guys?

I thought sex was suppose to give you a feeling of closeness with a person, but for me it makes me want to leave the relationship.

Is it because I got what I wanted from her? Is this me feeling no desire for her because I just had sex? If thats the case then should I even be dating this girl?

Sounds like you may not like her all that much, but you're probably feeling the loss of desire after you have been sexually satisfied.

Maybe you should roll over and go to sleep like everyone else?

I'm leaning towards this as the answer. I feel like sex has the opposite effect on girl. My gf curls up into me after like im a teddy bear or something, haha

I usually just lay with her for a minute or two then i roll over the other way and pass out. Sometimes I just roll over and pass out. Either way i can't be next to her for too long or i get annoyed. I guess that's just the way it is for guys. My buddy is the same way with his wife.

We like to ****, they like to cuddle. Too much post-sex cuddle times and she starts treating you like her teddy bear, thats no good.

Having said that i like to cuddle once in a while, no homo.

Yeah that must be it. I remember the first time we had sex I was so excited and happy, this feeling to leave her has gotten stronger and stronger every time proceeding that.

FYI I dont mind cuddling, feels good to have a naked body laying next to me.
