Why Do I Always Seem Like a 5th Wheel?

Hey,

I can't quite get why, but I always seem like a 5th wheel when it comes to doing what I like to do which is socializing and hopefully meeting some girls. Tonight, I and a couple of friends went out and we went looking for girls and they kept telling me to go off to the side so they could go for the girls. I felt like I was just there, "observing."
Earlier this evening, we were at a casual restaurant, and we saw a couple pretty nice looking girls on the other side of it. One of them saw that I/we were checking them out, and my friends were pressuring me to go make a move because I talked about it all the time. The problem was, I didn't know what to say without looking creepy, because isn't it weird for a guy checking a girl up to go over and just start talking to them?
I know you are probably going to just say to get new friends. Well, the problem is these are like the only friends I have that are into this looking for girls thing like me. Well, go make some new friends you might say. Well, why do you think I am here?
Any advice should be appreciated.

Your the 5th Wheel because you've allowed yourself to be. Even when you where encouraged to make a move, you still acted as the 5th wheel.

Step out of it. Time for you to do some soul searching and self exploration on your own.

Self improvement only require ones self, even if it feels safe to be in a group...you'll allows be in the shadows.

As the guy earlier stated,your there cause you allowed yourself to be.

Basically you have access to this site now to which Im assuming your friends dont.Therefore you have an advantage.Look up some stuff man theres plenty to find out.

When you get confident enough and your buddies tell you to go for the girl and you pull it off,they will STFU and respect you alot more.
