What happened with this girl?

So this kinda shy girl I work with has been flirting with me for a few weeks. I started giving her kino and used sexual enuendo and she was responding positively, and her friends said she was really hot for me. We work in a bar, and after work one day I started buying her shooters. We flirted for awhile and I asked her if she wanted to come over to my place, she agreed, and I thought I was gonna get laid for sure. Anyway, we made out on my bed for awhile, and everything was going well. Suddenly she starts to slow things down, and says she's too tired and stoned to do anything else with me. What the Hell! I know she was pretty drunk and stoned, but this girl was really into me. Any insight into why girls sometimes change their minds at the last minute?

Two forward one back. Most of the time it's just a matter of disarming her so that she doesn't feel like a slut by sleeping with you. It's been said a thousand times here before.. Girls are either as sexual or even MORE sexual than men. Many women want to have sex as much as you do, but they are have the potential of being branded a slut if they are promiscuous. Make it natural, and make her want it & work for it - yeah I guess that sounds like a paradox.. Make it natural, and it is. But it's the best way I can put it.

Also, don't discount the fact that she actually may have been too drunk/high. Sometimes you just don't feel like fooling around.

Yeah, I think I may have given up a little too easily. I didn't want to put too much pressure on her though, I do have to work with this girl after all. But what's the best way to stop a girl from feeling slutty after she agrees to come over?
