Why can't I say the N word?

Well, I can say the N word all I want actually. We do have a real minority of black Africans here, less than 50 people in this small city. They tend to act more civilized than tourist Russians, so I personally try not to use the N word, or even black near them. I just go for Afro as a good alternative.


But, there you are in America, and the N word is everywhere! It's on the music titles, in the music itself in form of lyrics, in the movies, on the streets, it's even popular. What used to be punk in the 80s is now N, it's that cool, it's the new standard.


So how come it's all around you and you still can't say it?


And when you do say, you're suddenly racist, and have to tell people how much you respect the blacks, this and that. :yes:


The whole situation reminds me of a cat that you bate with some fish and then when it comes and decides to take it you kick it in the ass.

Why do you want to say it? I have no desire to. Can you say it? You can say whatever you want. Doesn't mean you won't get your ass kicked.

You can say it all you want. But if a black person hears you and gets offended and decides to attack, I hope you're prepared to defend yourself or are in earshot of police.

And you'll only get fired/reprimanded/etc. if you are affiliated with some type of business that has black clients. THAT is what it's all about. Not the actual offense. Same reason you see Spanish everywhere now. Businesses aren't pandering to the illegal immigration cause, they are just trying to make money off of them via grocery stores, walmart, etc.

But pardon me. It is stupid! You have the N word everywhere in music, movies, advertising, and in popular culture. And I can't use the N word?


In that case I should boycott the blacks and their black culture, don't buy black rap music, don't buy movies with black actors, and don't ride with blacks in the same bus!

Stop being a troll, if you want to say it then say it, nine times out of ten your already saying it anyway. If you going to go all out though, make sure you say it around a large group of blacks, and then I will have a large amount of respect for you.

Actually black people shouldn't say it. The word "n*gger," is mean, degrading, spews of white supremacy and racism. Also, to quote Oprah Winfrey, "it was the last word that a lot of black men heard before they were lynched.

With that being said, the word has literally been with us since the slave ships, and blacks have been referring to themselves as that for as long as we've been in America. If you read slaves narratives, (the autobiographies of former slaves,) you'll notice that the slaves refer to themselves as "n*ggers," essentially it's a really bad habit with us black people.

Then you also have to factor in the context the word is being used and by whom. My best friend, (who I've know since I was 8 years old,) is an Ashkenazi Jew, he can use the word in my presence because I know the context in which he's using the word and there's no malice behind it, but he knows better than to use the word around blacks that he's not familiar because he knows there will be problem. At the end of the day the use of the word "n*gger," is the least of African Americans problems, if every black person in America were to stop using it tomorrow, it's not going to stop cats from selling drugs, gangbanging, not taking education seriously, and chicks from having kids with everybody and anybody.
