For women, myspace is to get what they are missing. Attention. You will find there chicks that want attention, but nothing else, because attention is all they want. Also because men you find on myspace want women.


The only time you get a girl from myspace is if she contact you, because that way she is interested in you, unlike 99% of the time. A guy on here had an a good idea about spamming the b1tches and asking them for IM. They reply that means they want you, so you succeed with those sometimes.

Other than that my man, myspace is for attention wh0res. I'm not able to get my d1ck up on girls from myspace, they are nasty. Only use it for hip hop stuff.

Another thing, when you're hot, it's that much easier to get chicks to meet with you from myspace, but only when they are interested.

Most girls are too scared to meet you in person and the ones that do either have kids or are old or just flake out in you and no-show half the time..

I've meet up and dated like 4?in general after like 2 months on myspace non-stop so it does work but that's out of countless attempts & many no-shows..

The times I actually used that site, I got a few random emails and my numbers on paper are not all that. I am maybe a 7.5, in all honesty. But hell, if I get to a chick in person, I can be a 9 with my personality, but whatever, myspace is like a crutch system for women in the dating arena. More power to them.

Most girls there under 25 w/o kids just want to be seen and message guys with no real commitment to a date unless they see has money or is a male model or some sh1t.

Most of them will give me a number and txt and call but those same chics won't show up for the date or cancell.

I had an 18 yr old that I met from myspace about a yr ago, and she even had no kids! She was a total slvt though, I must admit. She dressed really slutty with really short shorts and a white tank top. She requested to add me one night, and I accepted it, and send a message saying, "you wanted to add me...what's up?" Her response, "I just wanted to add you cause you are so sexy..."...and we sent a few messages back and forth and she says, "we should meet sometime." I then asked for number and got it, called her told her to meet me outside of Wal-Mart at 9 pm the next night, and she did, surprisingly, but she brought friends with her. well, I get a ton of spam msgs from hot girls (or probably just computer programs, in all likelihood) that try to redirect me to porn sites and stuff. I usually check out all their profiles individually before I deny their friend requests, but I imagine that not everyone is so careful. If you try to add a new girl as your friend, she may not even take the time to look at your profile and figure out that you're a real person.

- social proof
- keeping in contact with people while you're backpacking etc
- self promotion of your exploits and value (whilst maintaining mystique)
- wasting time

however it is NOT good for
- picking up quality chicks
- a replacement for a social life
