Why are the beautiful ones crazy?

I was watching an episode of Dr. Phil today (hey there's nothing else on lol) and they had this girl on there that was obsessed with mary-kate olsen. Like she wanted to be her and tried everything she could to look like her. She had bullemia and battled anorexia as well, just to look thin like mary-kate is.

I couldn't believe it, this girl was very good looking and looked like a smart girl. I didn't understand why this girl would want to give up her life to have mary-kates. I dunno, why are the beautiful ones crazy?!

Just because a girl is beautiful does not mean she has a high self esteem.

This topic was discussed earlier and someone in another thread mentioned that the more prettier the girl is the harder it is for her to maintain that look so she is always looking for flaws and faults and in the end of it she drives herself nuts.

Why are models so messed up? their self esteem is based on how much work they get and how much they are in demand. If they are not in demand it tells them that they are not pretty enough.

Once their looks start to fade or a hotter model takes over the scene, they go compleltly bonkers and shoot heroin, drink heavily and have multiple sex partners in order to forget their past glory. The strip clubs/escort services/porn industries are full of washed up models who never quite made it and fell through the cracks.
