Basically I got this waitress to like me at this establishment where I hang out. I had a issue with her co worker who we will refer to as A. She will be Kate and the 3rd girl I'll refer to Jane. Jane a is a dumbass. I told her that I offended A and now Kate thinks I was talking about her. Suggestions?

What I would personally do is what I call "burn it into the ground". So if Kate thinks you were talking about her, instead of explaining myself, I would "roll with it" and continue "talking about her", except in a comedic way.
