when I talk to girls from other countries, they are so friendly and polite (except russian girls who are rude). when I talk to american girls, they ignore me, or they just look at me with a blank stare, or they say "dont talk to me I dont know you" or best case they give a one word answer and run away.

the weird thing is people from other countries have this assumption that americans are friendly. I dont know where they get this idea from, but americans suck. so rude.

I know a person's reaction to me should not affect how I feel about myself, but it does.

I thought Americans love black men, I always see Black American men sleeping with Blonde white women in their movies!
Some do. The problem is those who dont have the system backing them up to ruin someone else's life that they dont like on a whim.

I've always found Americans to be some of the most friendly people, especially compared to how borderline Autistic Northen Europeans and Japanese can be.
you must be confusing japanese with korean. japanese people are the most polite people I have ever met, no exaggeration. look at how they cleaned up after themselves in the world cup. meanwhile, fat americans will eat 2 bags of potato chips at a baseball game and throw the packaging on the floor.

Japanese are very fake nice, there is nothing genuine about their behaviour. If you actually get to know them you will find that Japanese are some of the most xenophobic and passive aggressive people on the planet.

They are only "nice" for appearance sake

That would explain the obesity epidemic…lol.

Personally, I don’t find Americans to be rude. More direct and less “fake nice” compared to some other cultures (i.e. Canadians)? Sure. But I don’t see that as a negative.
The way he is describing his reaction from women in the USA is not that much different in Canada. Women are not fake nice here, especially in Toronto.

I don't find americans to be particularly rude compared to other countries. Most locals I've met abroad like Americans, but there is a bias there because people who travel tend to be more open minded.

What is the context here? Are you hitting on American women in the US or abroad?

This. If you think US people are rude/unfriendly with strangers, Check out the UK (not Northern cities like Newcastle though who are actually friendly) or Finland or France or something

I'm sure the US probably varies a fair bit by state too, although I couldn't say for certain as have never lived there and only been a few times, but in general, they're a lot friendlier and less rude than lots of places. I've always LOVED gaming in the US. Even the rejections are nice! (girls talk back). I'm sure my accent helped too, of course

Kezia Noble done videos about US vs UK cold approach, and also the coaches over at 'love systems' (are they still around?) had some interesting feedback about their experiences

In general, the consensus was walking up too a girl in the US and being like 'hi, i'm Jack', would get the reaction, 'Hi, I'm Kelly. How are you?' kind of thing. Whereas in the UK (say a random southern town or most parts of London) walking up too a stranger and saying 'Hi, I'm Jack' would get you a look of confusion and disdain from a confused, nervous looking girl who blinks at you like she's never spoken too a stranger and then turns away fast lol. Even though i've had my fair share of success at this point due to numbers game, i'd have to agree with them. It's just some countries it's basically weird to strike up convos with strangers and they react that way. Probably slowly getting worse EVERYWHERE though, what with smart phones and less and less face to face interaction even amongst friends etc. I remember when 'online dating' was considered 'weird'. Now it's the reverse.

I agree, I find this to be true in most cases. The US is very approach friendly which is why I like being and going to the the US for meeting women. If you go to a lot of foreign countries and do a cold approach, you get a lot of surprise reactions and they'd think you're freakin weird.

I've noticed that here in the USA compared to other cultures, that our culture is more extroverted. Most of the time if you approach people the right way, they are friendly.

Typically the rudest people we have are in cities.

Depends on what PART of the USA you are in. But don't confuse 'friendliness' with being 'cordial'. Most Americans are very cordial & polite. But what is considered cordial and polite changes from city to city. In New York City, cordial and polite is minding your own business, not getting in anyone's way and not being an @sshole. In New Orleans, cordial and polite is engaging in small talk, talking sports, music festivals, and being openly friendly. If you grew up in New Orleans, then arrived in New York, cordial and polite behavior in NOLA is considered intrusive and rude in NYC.

It also depends on the environment people in Philadelphia are generally friendly people... but you put them in at an Eagle's football games and they become most aggressive and rude people you will ever meet.

We also tend to get a little b1tchy around election season and tax season.

There are good and bad people everywhere. The thing with Americans is that some of them have a superiority complex or are racist, but most of them are pretty cool. I think people from Paris are more rude on average.

Because this ^ @espanish

Better yet, Americans' perception is that they are when they are not. Hence why most people around the world are not keen on most (not all) American's attitude.

You have to understand, the USA is a young country/nation. Compared to other countries/nations/cultures that have been around for way longer its an infant country with an infant culture, therefore this "new kid on the block" mentality is often perceived as arrogant and over-imposing. A clear example is Divorced w 3's comment.

PS: I am a US citizen and live in the US with a Spanish background, so I am not trying to hate on my "home" and "my people" but I am able to be objective, analytical, and most importantly honest on this subject.

I get lots of love in America (Miami/Orlando/SF/Sacremento and the bummy areas at the foot of the mountains (Oroville, marysville etc) very friendly people. I’m a friendly person, I make friends with people in my hotels, on planes, at bars, girls ask about my accent in Walmart, I get numbers from whoever I ask pretty much.

Chinese people are very friendly and helpful, very respectful. I speak to lots of them because of my business. You wouldn’t believe how many of them want to escape China and work abroad. Bit like the Japanese but more authenticity. The Japanese lack humour and very racist to Koreans, weird bunch. If I believed nuclear weapons exist (I don’t, I’m not an idiot), I’d blame America for nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki for causing the weirdness. However both cities were rebuilt quickly during supposed 1000+ year radioactive half life, the radioactive isotopes would make the area still uninhabitable now, but I distress.
