Could I put some whitening TOOTPASTE in a mouthpeace ( like in boxing) and keep it in my mouth for an hour to whiten my teeth?
Would that damage my teeth? I don't have the money to do it at the dentist.

Be VERY carefull with whitening, especially the "homemade" version... Those you do at home yourself because those usually tare down the "emalie" ehm dont remember what its called but its the white hard stuff outside on your teeth that make them healthy and hard.... Whiteners destroy that and make your teeth less resistant and strong.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Just buy some Crest White Strips.

Problem solved. :)

And if you REALLY wanted to, I'm willing to bet you could wear them in your mouthpiece (but there are better times to, and I don't know how well they stay on during pummeling).

They work, though.

I dont know about the whole mouthgaurd thing, but a good toothpaste to whiten your teeth is Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, just mix it into a paste.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

crest white strips premium, 7 day treatment, is great. it will take at least a couple of shades off. it's kind of annoying, though, getting those "bottom" strips to work. your gums will likely be sensitive for maybe a month afterwards, but it wasn't a big deal with me.

as far as stripping the enamel off, it doesn't. it's been proven and approved by the FDA. actually its a concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution. dental paste is partially HP.

if you want to get absolutely stellar results, get the BrightSmile treatment. it will make your teeth pearly white in 30 minutes. it costs about $500-$700 bucks though. my sister did this and i was stunned.

another alternative is Zoom, which is similar to BrightSmile, but it's a home treatment. you have to make a mold with the kit, then send it in, and they send the goods back to you, and you wear the mouthpiece for about an hour a day for 7 days. this costs $200-$300 bucks. a friend of mine did this, and had great results.

Saw a cosmetic dentist about this who is a leader in cosmetic dentistry and trains other cosmetic dentists around the world.

Basically says many whitening products are resticted by law as to "application" and "potency" of peroxide and whitening agents. Some people have intrinsic colour whereas others its external so when teeth are cleaned its white or not.

Says bleeching trays are the only real way to go white that will be effective and will last.

And how much? Of course he's gonna say that. $500.00? $800.00? (My Ex is a dental Hygenist and she did both. Yeah, the bleeching trays do better. But for the money, the white strips are more economical).

My dental coverage does not cover cosmetic dentistry. I did the white strips. I have a 30 minute drive to work, so every morning for 2 weeks. It's been a month and still white...

Go on Ebay and look up Opalescence. It's a bleaching tray kit that costs like $15. Same exact stuff the dentist uses, same name brand. Only difference is you make your own tray (easy) and it's about $300 cheaper. My friend uses this and she has THE whitest teeth I have ever seen. She uses the 20% gel which is really strong stuff. I am currently using the 15% gel which is still pretty strong (most dentists use 10%). I just started using it, will let you guys know how it goes.
